Requirements for Performers

  • All candidates must be at least 16 years old by March 15, 2010.
  • Please bring one (1) headshot and resume when attending the audition.
  • Please prepare two contrasting songs (one up-tempo & one ballad), bring legible sheet music in the appropriate key as an accompanist will be provided, Accompaniment on CD is also allowed however CD's with the original artist performing main vocals or pre-recorded accompaniment on a cassette tape will not be allowed.
  • You may be asked to attend a call back the same day as your audition. Auditioners attending the call back will learn a dance combination so please bring appropriate dance attire.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • All applicants must be at least 16 years old by March 15, 2010.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Previous experience in a related area is a plus.

Contract Dates and Salary

Rehearsal and performance dates may vary depending on the position and the specific production. Some shows will begin rehearsal as early as late March (shows open weekends in early May), while other shows may begin rehearsing as late as May 1, 2010 (shows open Memorial Day weekend). All candidates must be at least 16 years old by March 15, 2010. All positions are paid, with performers and technicians paid hourly for rehearsal and the season. Hours vary depending on the specific production and range from 24 to 40 hours per week for a six day work week. Some shows will play weekends only in the spring and fall, with hours adjusted accordingly. Average pay rate is $8 to $12 per hour, but varies according to position, experience and training.
