Aberdeen, Idaho-Casting call ages 40 up
Casting Call Slated for this Saturday, Oct. 19 in Aberdeen, Idaho
ABERDEEN — A new business called Home Video Studio has opened at 251 South Fifth East, and a casting call event will be held at the studio this Saturday, Oct. 19 from 1-5 p.m.
Specifically, people who are at least 40-years-old are invited to be interviewed with regards to what life was like in American from 1946-1976. Those who agree to the interview could be featured in “The Great American Home Movie,” which is a feature length documentary that is currently being produced.
Terry and Cindy George are the owners of the business.
“I have always been interested in media, with this business I can combine my interest of computers and media,” said Terry George. “When I found out that J.R. Simplot was closing the Aberdeen plant, I figured this was a good time to do something different than my current career, which is electronics/electrical.”
Cindy George worked at Simplot in the quality assurance department.
“With the announcement of the Aberdeen plant closing in the Spring of 2014, we knew we needed to find some other means of support,” said Cindy George. “We would like to share with Aberdeen, and the state of Idaho, a professional video service with the small town, family atmosphere, bringing cherished memories back to life for future generations.”
