Not all kids have the opportunity to begin their singing career at a young age anymore. Geeh The Band wants to give young, undiscovered stars their first shot at fame. They launched a singing contest on May 5, 2014, to search for seven voices (1 per character) for their 2015 studio album.

Geeh, The Band are virtual rockstars who perform music geared towards tweens and teens. Each song sends a positive message, has appropriate lyrics, is original and has a great beat. Geeh strives to be role models for their listeners.

To enter: Starting May 5, 2014, until midnight EST on June 20, 2014, kids up to age 13 (with a parents or guardians permission) can record and upload a 60-second clip of your star singing Geeh’s “We’ll Make the World Shine” to Vimeo or YouTube, then submit the entry form on the band’s website. 7 lucky winners will be the new voices for Geeh The band’s 2015 studio album and receive a one-time prize of $500.

Dad Alfonso Soto created Geeh The Band because he was concerned over the popstars his kids were looking up to. He wanted to them to be able to listen to good music that had age-appropriate lyrics and have positive role models.
