Auditions for the Vampire Western, "Sundown at Crimson" are taking place
this Saturday August 21st and Sunday August 22nd.
They are looking for Actors to fill a variety of different speaking roles.
The Auditions will be open calls starting at 11:00am and ending at 5:00pm on both days in Nampa, Idaho
All you need to do is show up somewhere between those times and audition.
This is a volunteer project. Copy and Credit is available.
Character List:
Nate Stone (20-35)- A bank robber on the run from the law. strong appearance and stature.
Lover and partner in crime is Lily. He has a very composed demeanor, but is very opinionated at the same time. And never turns down the chance for adventure
Lily Sabre- (20-30) A bank robber on the run from the law. She is petite and sweet looking but by no means a matching personality. She takes charge of most things in her life, except for her relationship with Nate, she seems to be almost more intimidated by him than in love. She has a spunky thrill-seeking attitude toward he exploits, and could outgun most men.
Ed Bellamy- (40-60) A hermit that lives just outside of town, most people in town consider him a lunatic, but he considers him self a hero to the people, claiming that 30 years ago he wiped Crimson City clean of vampires. older looking, very eccentric personality, but also very wise.
Vincent Black- (25-40) Leader of “The Gang”. enjoys terrorizing the towns people in Crimson City. he is tall, and very good looking, but also very strong. he seems very calm about everything, even when he gets in a tussle. the rest of the gang fears and respects him
Benjamin “Benny” Jameson- (20-30) Vincent’s right hand. the best looking member of “The Gang” always seen flirting with young women in the town saloon, before they disappear. he is much scrawnier than Vincent. and has a very smooth personality.
Annie Cummings - (20-30) A saloon waitress that keeps most of the town’s men coming back to the saloon. She is very pretty, and very sweet. not an ounce of violence or hatred in her. she is the first person to be rescued from the gang’s hideout. and instantly falls for her savior, Nate. She is very intelligent which proves useful to the group.
Sara Stevens- (14-22) A sixteen year old jailed gunslinger that Nate runs across in his investigation, he busts her out so in return she can help him with “The Gang” she is a tomboy, ranch girl, that has won too many duels in the streets and cheated in too many games of cards...but proves a useful asset to Nate and Lily’s cause.
Fred Delaware- (18-30) Ed Bellamy’s Nephew. . After reading Dracula too many times he is convinced he can be like Van Helsing. He accompanies Nate on the first trip to the hideout to rescue Annie Cummings. and dies in the attempt. A very wannabe attitude throughout his short time in the story.
Jimmy Ellis- (30-40) A smooth talking, swindling vampire salesman that helps the gang lure merchants into the hideout.
Joe- (20-60) Vincent’s enforcer.
Louie, Stan, Frank- (20-60) the rest of “The Gang”
Reverend Carl Emmet Capshaw- (40-60) the catholic priest in town. only comes out of the windowless church at night...but the towns people don’t think too much of it. Ends up being the real leader of the vampires.
Pete Cummings- (40-60) Annie’s father and the owner/bartender at the saloon.
Dr. John McCloud- (30-50)- The town physician and father of Katie McCloud
Sheriff Todd Allen- The town Sheriff,offers immunity to Nate and Lily if they can solve the mysterious murders that keep taking place
Deputy Mickens- Sheriff Allen’s deputy. Takes over as acting sheriff when sheriff Allen dies. he is dim wiited and doesn’t stand up for himself.
Charlie (FEMALE)- (20-30)- The FEMALE leader of the Brice County Super Vamp coven. Very good looking, and loves making peoples lives miserable. Comes up to help Vincent fight Nate.

Preston- (8-12) Sheriff Allen’s son. Gets captured by Vincent but is later rescued by Nate
Marshall Johnson- (40-60) The Marshall that had been hunting Nate and Lily, makes them deputies and grants their pardon.
