Synopsis: A man rebuilds his life with the help of his music in Soda Springs, Idaho after serving time in prison.

Characters (in order of appearance):

 

PRISON GUARD: Adult Male. Any age or ethnicity                                   
 
PRISON ADMINISTRATOR:  Male. 45-60, any ethnicity                 
 
SONYA ALVAREZ: Late 20’s- 40. Beautiful Latina (pivotal role – prefer Latina but Caucasian can audition)                                                   
 
SHERIFF JERRY GRIGGS:  Caucasian. Tough, no nonsense cop (strong role) Must be experienced Actor                                   
 
DEPUTY BAKER: Adult. Caucasian/any age. Thug.
 
BASEBALL UMPIRE: REAL umpire preferred. Any age/ethnicity   
 
PAM: Mid 30’s – 40ish – petite, attractive, Caucasian          
 
JAKE RIDING: Caucasian/40sih good ol’ boy – MUSICIAN
 
VIOLET: Young, attractive, dramatic Waitress type.                               
 
COCKTAIL WAITRESS: Open                                                                   
 
PRISON GUARD FOR VISITORS:  Male. Any age or ethnicity                  
 
CHRISTOPHER: Caucasian. 8 year old boy                                          
 
ELDERLY MAN and WOMAN: Caucasian. NO LINES – very strong reactions
