Boise Film ages 11-58 asap

This is a comedy short design after TV episode format. It will be shot in the
style of a multi-camera sitcom. Times for the shoot will be determined on a
later date, hopefully around late October. We set auditions date to this Saturday
This is a NON- paying gig, but we are trained professional students, and it will give you great material for your reel/resume. Please email your name, a head shot (if you have one), a acting resume, and the best way to contact you, and time when you can audition, to Bladedrinker@yahoo.com.
The story is about a family that has to deal with everyday life. These are the characters descriptions:
Ben (48-58) is a misanthropic dentist, who is constantly grumpy and sarcastic. He is married to Susan and has three children - Nick, Janey and Michael. He shows little compassion for his family, his patients or anyone else he encounters. When he is not at work sacking another assistant or trying to avoid fellow-dentist, he is at home trying to relax - sit on the sofa with a beer and the paper (which never works). Ben isn't all bad though, behind his moody exterior he does really love his family and has to put up with being bossed about and manipulated by his wife Susan and continually fleeced for money by his children.
Susan (45-55) is a control freak and very good at getting her way. Susan shows love to her children and husband. She is constantly worried about her three children and often forces Ben to go out of his way to monitor or look after them. Susan is a tour guide but seems to spend most of her time at home. She is a terrible cook, and the rest of the family often have to sneak the food she has prepared into the bin without her noticing.
Jenny (17-20) is the only daughter of Ben and Susan, the younger sister of Nick and the older sister of Michael and is known to be rather shallow. She is fashion conscious, money loving, boy mad and is very concerned with physical appearance. Janey spends all her time on the phone, switching boyfriends or pestering Ben for money so she can go shopping.
Michael (11-16) (or 'Mikey' as Ben calls him) is the youngest of Ben and Susan's children. He is a smart, clever geeky adolescent boy. He looks down on his family as he is more sensible than the rest of them put together and often ends up having to get them out of trouble. He is a typical geek who was highly intelligent if sometimes naive, and exhibited a strong sense of morality and integrity, attempting to win the election for student president by honest means.
Nick (20-28) is the oldest of the three siblings. Nick has attempted many jobs, such as a female impersonator, gorilla-o-gram, stunt-man, magician and landlord, but was hopelessly unsuccessful at all of them. Nick is extremely laid-back and cannot be trusted to carry out an important task or look after money! His silly behavior makes him irritating to his family, yet his laid back personality makes him fairly popular with women. Nick seems to get himself in awkward situations with other people, often getting confused as to what he is actually doing.
