“Jackie O”
BYU 419 Short Film Auditions
Jackie Obrien: Heavier set lady. Parole officer (29 - 39). If Chuck Noris, Rambo, and Crocodile Dundee lined up, she could give each of them a run for their money. She is eccentric, lacks social graces and is not in to makeup. She is justice personified but enforces it to extremes. Suspicious of everyone, she sees the justice system as slow and too easy on criminals. Knows neither fear nor limits. She is alone in the world but has learned to live with it.

Cliff: A male parole officer. Mousy and a tich spineless. Tries to be agreeable. Fulfilled in his work and encouraging. Looks for best in people.
Darren: A religious white male. Out of touch with the rising generation and tries too hard to be hip. Loves sweater vests and slacks. Hates profanity
Waitress: Strong. Resilient. Attractive. Quick on her feet. Smart
Pietro: Street smarts. Caring, but firm. Takes pride in having turned from a life of crime. Wants to pass on what he has learned to those needing a hand.
