Character
Breakdown:

Redbeard prefers the wilderness over society and isn’t accustom to taking orders. He prefers to work alone and often can be a menace toward those in opposition to his opinions or ideas.
Redbeard's appearance: Stern. Rugged. His beard
doesn't necessarily need to be red. Very tan. He's not that big of a man,
shorter in height, under 6'.
John Patterson – caucasian (Early to mid-30s) A well established
bridge builder assigned to aid in the construction of a railroad through
Africa. John has always had a deep fascination with Africa, part of the reason
he took the job, but he’s also eager to finish the project so he can return home
to his wife and newborn son in England.
Patterson's appearance: Well groomed and
presentable. He's still a man's man, but not as hard on the surface. Good
looking; not terribly tall, but slightly bigger than Redbeard.
Accents are not necessary, but people are welcome to come prepared with one. Patterson's accent would be a mix of British Proper with an underlying Irish tone. (He's Irish but has served with the British Army and lived in England for almost 10 years)
