COLUMBIA FILM STUDENT CASTING FILM (Reno Area)

Columbia MFA film student currently casting for thesis film. Audition session on MONDAY JUNE 27TH from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Rainshadow Community Charter High School at 121 Vesta Street AND on TUESDAY JUNE 28TH from 4:30pm to 8:00pm at the Holland Project HQ 30 Cheney St. We're searching for local talent interested in collaborating with us for what promises to be a fun, challenging, and high quality production. We'll be auditioning the following roles:
Our Shoot Dates will be from August 16th through August 21st.
LEADS:
JIM -- Late 20's. American Indian. Tow truck driver and caretaker of delinquent younger brother. Passionate auto mechanic and former demolition derby champion.
ACE -- 18. American Indian. Impulsive, a romantic, unstoppable. Awaiting trial for crashing a stolen car. Believes that the derby will be his chance at salvation.
SUPPORTING:
Bail Bondsman -- Ulcer ridden, high strung, a shark hunting prey.
Ruth (70) - No nonsense spitfire, Ruth has taken over as a derby promoter since her husband passed away. Thought of as the mother of destruction.
The Bash Brothers - Legends in their own right, a clan of one of the toughest competitors in the world of the derby.
Ugly D-Bong Jr. (30s) -- Fast-talking, short-tempered, competitive. As much as D-Bong likes to torment the Sundells, deep down he needs the competition to keep his own skills up to snuff.
Father Bong (60's) - Like an old tiger surveying his kingdom, Father Bong keeps a watchful eye on the competition.
