Hosts/VJ's for Utah Valley Live Project, UTAH
Posted by Craze Agency on Wednesday, July 13, 2011
Craze Agency is sending out this opportunity on behalf of our Client. It is
a non-paid project but looks to be a good opportunity. Read below for me
info.

Utah Valley Live is putting together a streaming show called WeGo and our
first/pilot episode ("Help Dustin Graduate") is scheduled for August 5th from
8pm-10pm on UtahValleyLive.com. (The title of this episode is "Help Dustin
Graduate" in honor of our senior intern.) We're looking for talent for
correspondent and veejay/host positions, specifically camera-friendly
college-aged fun and energetic social butterflies (BYOF...Bring Your Own
Friends) to host and report live on Friday nights. This is the third and final
posting of this ad and we've already gotten some great responses and hope for a
few more to give us a good group to audition.
Whether or not we have subsequent episodes will in part be determined by how well the pilot goes, how many viewers we have, and how much fun it is. We think we can eventually build a large enough audience to attract cash sponsors, but realistically for this pilot episode we're working with zero budget...which means it better be fun 'cuz there's no pay involved. There is however the opportunity to be a vj or correspondent and start at the very beginning of what could turn into a thriving business where everyone gets paid for their efforts.
Sound interesting?

For the time being we have decided to call this show "WeGoFridays" and the
pilot episode ("Help Dustin Graduate") is scheduled for live broadcasting on
Friday night August 5, from 8-10 pm. Whether or not we have subsequent episodes
will in part be determined by how well the pilot goes, how many viewers we have,
and how much fun it is. We think we can eventually build a large enough audience
to attract cash sponsors, but realistically for this pilot episode we're working

Our ideal correspondents and vjs will be comfortable in front of the camera, fit in with the college crowd, and have lots of friends who will be willing to tune in as well as publicize the show. The number of locations we broadcast from (and the number of correspondents we need) will be dictated by the number of cameras we have available. Having said that, we can also work in a correspondent or two who have a smart phone with a data package. In a way, the more the merrier as most of the correspondent reports will be less than 2 minutes in length.
Auditions will be held this Thursday night, July 14, at 7pm (plan on about 90 minutes) at the ProvoCreative studio. We are asking everyone to show up at 7, at which time we'll split the group in two and send one half outside to play the role of a correspondent, with the other half staying in the studio playing the part of a vj...after which we'll switch everyone around. Correspondents will conduct an on-air interview (of another candidate...be prepared to be interviewed yourself) as well as some ad lib dialogue. Vjs will be giving mock announcements and trying to be entertaining.
