"More Mystery on the Moors"
Ah, the English Moors! Was there ever a more mysterious place than the moors? Certainly there could be no more mysterious place on the moors than the dark and forbidding Reilbahd Manor, site of many strange occurrences. Take a trip back to Victorian England where Lord Maxwell DeWintergreen is about to announce his engagement to the lovely Emily Ingenue. But what monster lurks on the moors? Why are the people at Reilbahd Manor in such a real bad mood? Is that beast howling for Rebecca, the late Lady of the Manor? Perhaps the housekeeper, Inga Glaus Strychnine, is causing the poor predator to howl? Perhaps Dr. Helen Emtry and Sheerluck Homes can help us figure it all out.

Henry Heath: (Cockney gardener and is a war hero in the charge of the Light Brigade in India. He leads singing ensamble song and dance Henry the Eight.)

Inga Strychnine: (German housekeeper like Cloris Leechman in Young Frankenstein.)

Emily Ingenue: (The ingenue of the Realbad Manor but who, behind Maxwells back, flirts with the men. She sings solo dance and song Money Makes the World Go Round.)

Maxwell de Wintergreen: (Lord of Realbad Manor. Very charming and proper English gentleman but flirts with the women behind Emilys back.)

Dr. Helen Emtry: (The brains of the investigative team) Emily's aunt and famous doctor of psychology from the Lune D' Toone Asylum in Paris.

Sheerluck Homes: (Solving a crime is truly -- sheer luck) A man who hardly needs any introduction -- though the greatest mystery is how he ever got his reputation of brilliance.

Alice Shady: (Innocent young-looking singer, dancer) The poor dear is the orphaned daughter of Marcia Shady, the sister of the late Lady DeWintergreen, Rebecca.

"Mid-Evil Days & Knights,"
takes place in The Mid-Evil age of England at Earl Blackney Grey's Darksome Castle and is a tale of maidens, knights, witchcraft and hey-nonny-nonny. Who will the Earl designate his heir: his chip-off-the-old-block son, Colwyn (Cole) Grey; or his minstrel son, Edward Grey? Which son does Lady Faye Grey favor? Will the quick-witted Brother Smothers from the Monastery of St. Elmer the Beduddled unravel the mystery? Is Lilith of the Valley really a witch? Is Nellie the nurse the Earls fancy or does he have eyes on another?

CHARACTERS:
Earl Blackney Grey: lord and master of the Darksome Castle

Colwyn (Cole) Grey: the Earls chip-off-the-old-block son

Edward Grey: the Earls other son, a minstrel not a fighter

Lady Faye Grey: The Earls high-brow wife has a favorite son

Brother Smothers: The quick-witted but tongue-tied monk from the Monastery of St. Elmer the Befuddled

Lilith of the Valley: the Earls favorite serving wench who some believe is really a witch

Nellie the nurse: Nursemaid to both of the Earls boys, but she has her favorite

Pigeon: Birdbrain half-wit who loves pigeons and statues but is always under foot

Come prepared with a comedic monologue, an upbeat song and your own music, a resume and a photograph. No accompanist will be provided.

Hunt Mysteries can be classified as intimate theater. Specifically we perform murder mystery dinner theater; our emphasis is on comedy and audience participation.

We perform public shows frequently throughout the Wasatch Front.

We regularly perform for private parties & conventions throughout Utah.

We also perform for clients outside of Utah in locations such as Wendover, Mesquite & Las Vegas, Nevada; Green River, Pinedale & Evanston Wyoming; Denver, Colorado and elsewhere.

Our scripts are about 20 pages in length -- and only represent about 1/3 of an evening's performance.
One third in character adlib entertaining of guests at their tables.
One third in character adlib answering questions during sleuthing.
One third scripted dialogue.

The major difference between regular theater and Hunt Mysteries comedy murder mystery dinner theater is that there is no "4th Wall" between the actors and the guests. In fact, the actors generally eat dinner with the guests, staying in character throughout the entire night. There are no curtains to hide behind!
