Zions Bank is launching the second season of
its online reality show "Cheapster," in which college students compete
for cash prizes for themselves and their schools.
The bank is accepting video applications from
Utah and Idaho students ages 18 to 26 through Sept. 14. To apply or
watch webisodes from last season, go to www.cheapstertv.com.
Cheapster contestants are judged by the
creative extremes to which they will go to solve a series of budgeting
challenges presented by Zions and filmed by a video crew. The
lowest-scoring participants will be eliminated at the end of each round
in order to determine the winner.
Challenges will air online in October and November.
Contest rules, casting call schedules and other information is available at cheapstertv.com.
