POCATELLO — The Westside Players Community Dinner Theatre will
wrap up its 2013 season with “Lend Me a Tenor,” Ken Ludwig’s screwball
comedy, set in the 1940s, in which a fiery-tempered Italian superstar
arrives in Cleveland to make his debut with the local opera, promptly
goes missing and chaos on an epic scale ensues. It's a great show to be
part of, and great to attend.
Auditions for men only, ages 20-30 in the production, directed by
Philip Shepherd, will be held at the Warehouse, 1009 S. 2nd Ave. in
Pocatello on Friday, August 16 at 6:30 p.m. Actors need no advanced
preparation. Cold readings from the script will be used.
Production dates for Ken Ludwig's “Lend Me a
Tenor” will be Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 4-26, at The Warehouse.
Ludwig's plays have been produced often by Westside Players, including
Moonlight Over Buffalo, Communicating Doors, Leading Ladies and The 20th
Century.
