Idaho-Tons of parts ages 8 and up
The Music Theatre of Idaho, the Treasure Valley’s professional-quality, live musical theatre company, has announced auditions for the upcoming 2013 season. This professionally managed production company is unique in offering performance training and onstage opportunities, on a professional level, to residents of the Treasure Valley. Anyone over the age of eight may audition for a place in the 2013 company.
MTI is seeking approximately 200 performers to fill roles in eight musical productions in the new season. Vocal screenings are set for Nov. 3 at the MTI training and rehearsal facility in Nampa.
Productions scheduled for the coming year include: “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” “Little Women,” “Some Enchanted Evening,” “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” “Guys and Dolls,” “The Pirates of Penzance” and “A Christmas Carol.”
A large company of singers, dancers and actors will be cast to fill a variety of roles from lead performer to chorus. Men, women and children are needed to fill roles in all the shows.
