July 18 & 20 -- Knock 'em Dead Theater holds open auditions for the coming season July 18th (Saturday) and 20th (Monday). 
 
Auditions will be held at the Theater, 333 South 9th Street.
    
Saturday auditions Will be from 11AM - 1 PM  for children and 2PM - 4PM for adults. 
 
Monday times will be 7-9 PM.
 
Sound of Music will be needing 7 children from age 7 on up, as well as approximate 30 adults.
    
Please come prepared to sing a song from a Broadway Musical that is similar to the style of the show(s) you are auditioning for. There will be an experienced pianist available, as well as a cd player for recorded accompaniment.
 
Please, no accapella auditions.
 
Please bring sheet music and/or an accompaniment track. We will ask you to perform approximately one minute of your chosen song, however please prepare the entire song as we may want to hear more!
    
We will also have people do "cold" readings from various scripts - for those interested in auditioning for the non-musical productions (Murder Room and Move Over Mrs. Markham). You will not need to sing.
