NY choreographer Andrea Miller is casting 6 women for a cutting edge, high-fashion avant-garde immersive performance on Friday August 22nd, 2014. Performers will collaborate with Miller's company Gallim Dance in creating an unforgettable evening.
Gallim Dance, a New York-based contemporary dance company, creates and performs original work by artistic director and 2014 Guggenheim Fellow, Andrea Miller. Founded in 2007, Gallim quickly captured the attention of fellow artists, presenters, and audiences with its award-winning work, ensemble of dancers, and fearless physicality. Gallim consistently tours nationally and internationally, as well as performs yearly home seasons in New York City, NY.
Rehearsals: Wednesday August 20th, and Thursday August 21st
Performance: Friday, August 22nd

Cleopatra:
Female (5’9” and taller, ethnic)- Seeking a Model/Actress that can move with striking features and expression. Must have performance and dance background with the ability to improvise. Strong charisma and comfort engaging with audience members is expected.
Beauty Queen:
Female (5’9” and taller, Caucasian) – Seeking a “Jessica Rabbit” type Model/Actress that can move. Must have performance and dance background with the ability to improvise. Strong charisma and comfort engaging with audience members is expected.
Show Girls:
Female (5’9” and taller) – Seeking 3 Las Vegas Showgirls type Model/Actresses. Must have performance and dance background with ability to improvise. Experience as a Vegas Showgirl or Radio City Rockette is strongly recommended. Strong charisma and comfort engaging with audience members is expected.
