World Entertainment Services, LLC has scheduled a Las Vegas area audition and is currently accepting online video submissions for the 2014 Cirque de la Mer show at SeaWorld San Diego.

Training and rehearsals begin in early April and the show runs through August 17th, 2014. To be eligible for employment, performers must be at least 18 years old, on or before April 1st, 2014.

AUDITION:

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 15TH, 2014

GYMCATS

ROLES:

ACROBATS (male & female)
- Chinese poles, tramp wall, choreographed acrobatics, character work, and water entries
- Candidates will be tested on tumbling skills, technique, form, strength, choreography comprehension, and character work

- 10:30am to 11:00am: APPLICATION PAPERWORK & WARM-UP
- 11:00am to 1:15pm: AUDITION

AERIALISTS (female)
- Aerial tissue/silks, Chinese Poles, choreographed acrobatics, and character work
- Candidates will be tested on strength, movement, choreography comprehension, and character work
- Due to time limitations, aerial talent will be evaluated by video. For consideration, please bring a headshot & resume and a DVD demo (or email links to video), required materials not to be returned
- 12:45pm to 1:15pm: APPLICATION PAPERWORK & WARM-UP
- 1:15pm to 2:45pm: AUDITION

DYNAMIC RHYTHMIC GYMNASTS (female)
- Capture audience attention (drawing and sending focus) through creative movement and prop manipulation
- Candidates will be tested on strength, movement, choreography comprehension, and character work. In addition, please be prepared to demonstrate up to two minutes of movement, showcasing prop manipulation and flexibility

- 1:15pm to 2:45pm: AUDITION

COMEDIC ACTORS & PHYSICAL COMEDIANS (male & female)
- Guide an audience of thousands on a journey through the world of Amphibia using non-verbal, physical comedy and personal watercraft riding
- Please have a one-minute comedic monologue prepared. You may be asked to participate in individual and group improvisational exercises, as well
