Cirque du Soleil is seeking a male performer for a one-year contract.
Company states: "Cirque du Soleil presents live shows that combine—in an
innovative way—acrobatics, theater, dance, music, and singing.
Presented under big tops or in theaters or areas, our 19 shows and
original special events are all unique experiences."
One-year contract provided (dates/locations TBD).
Seeking—Character: male, 18-20s, Caucasian, 4'2"-5'1", slender body type, in good physical condition, with musicality, charismatic, youthful, physical acting experience a plus, with strong stage presence, acrobatic background a plus, must be able to portray a childlike character. Note: Casting personnel request that you only submit for this role if you meet the listed requirements.

Online submissions must include the following: your résumé (ideally including a current physical description of yourself, including any special attributes which you believe would be valuable for Cirque, years and locations of training, and locations of professional experience); two photos (one portrait and one full-body shot); and a two- to three-minute video that should include a short presentation to the camera, a movement improvisation showcasing your musicality and youthfulness, and an unspoken physical acting improvisation in the themes of "discovery," "innocence," and "playfulness." Ensure that the video shows your full body and at least one close-up where the casting team can clearly see your face. Submission deadline is Feb. 1.
