The Illusionists ( http://www.theillusionistslive.com/ ), a large scale magic and illusion variety show, is seeking variety artists for the supporting cast of its upcoming international tour, which has already been seen in 50 cities in 15 countries.

 

SEEKING- Non-Union Performers for an International Tour.  Please note: we are not seeking headliner magicians at this time.

 

REQUIREMENTS- Male and Female dancers. 

Also looking for Experience and a demonstrated proficiency in any of the following fields/disciplines:  pole dance, variety acts, circus arts, burlesque, aerial, movement, tumbling, LED hoop, stilts, silks, magic, gymnastics, and strength acts. fire eating+breathing, fire fans, fire hoop, and/or grinder acts.  With these exceptional individuals we will weave a world around the main acts.

 

OPEN CALL AUDITION DATES- Saturday May 17, 2014.


AUDITION TIMES-  CIRCUS/SIDE SHOW PERFORMERS  -  Sign up 1pm

 

MALE AND FEMALE DANCERS -  4:00pm  (sign up 3.30pm)

 

LOCATION- Fern Adair Conservatory of the Arts

PREPARATION- Be prepared to move and learn choreography.  Wear appropriate dancewear and footwear.  If you have special skills in any of the disciplines listed above, bring the appropriate items needed to demonstrate upon request.

COMPENSATION- Minimum $750 per week, depending on credits + per diem + hotel +transportation

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS- All performers seeking employment must have a valid, up to date passport with room for VISAs and have no travel restrictions by the potential October 2014 start date in Europe.
