Posted by crazeagency on Thursday, November 5, 2009
BYU Casting is putting together a new reality
television series tentatively called, "Stuck."
Stuck! is a half-hour makeover show that
helps people change some seemingly small aspect of their lives that is holding
them back.
Each
episode begins with an introduction to the subject’s problem and a measurable
goal that they want to accomplish. The subject meets with a professional who
helps them set smaller goals that they will achieve in pursuit of the ultimate
objective. The rest of the episode consists of observational footage intercut
with after-the-fact interviews. The scenes are tied-together by scripted
narration performed by the subject. Each episode culminates in an experience
where the subject demonstrates that they’ve achieved their
objective.
They are essentially looking for articulate and
charismatic people who would like some exposure as they learn how to overcome
one of their personal stumbling blocks. As far as demographics, they are open to
a wide range of diversity, so looking for interesting characters of all ages,
ethnicities and looks.
The
series will air on BYU TV. There is no pay for the project but a great way to
gain some exposure in the Utah Market!!!!
