New Testament Auditon for Mature Women 35+
WHEN: Monday, April 18, 2011 from 1:00pm until 4:30pm.
WHO: Mature Female Actresses, age 35+ (Please see descriptions below.)
WHERE: LDS Motion Picture Studio, 300 W 2230 N, Provo, UT 84604
Production has had many talented women apply for their New Testament project. Upon review with the director, they have found that far too many are fresh-faced and wrinkle-free. The director is looking for Women who…
(1) look like life has beaten them down;
(2) have distinguishable wrinkles;
(3) have not had plastic surgery to make them look younger;
(4) are rail-thin to medium build.
Also, his view about what looks “Jewish” is considerably different from our original “olive-skinned” request. If you can appear world-weary, regardless of coloring or bone-structure, they would like to see you.
These are the roles we will be populating:
Woman with an Issue of Blood – mid-30’s to early 40’s
Woman of Samaria – 30’s to 50’s
Elisabeth, Mary’s cousin – 50’s to 60’s
Anna, the prophetess – 82 years (We may use the magic of makeup to age this actress, but she should be at least in her 60’s if not older.)
All these roles require some profound acting. They seek actresses who have had training and experience in theatre or film.
The SIDES for all the roles may be found here: http://goo.gl/5nz9n
There are only two sides: (1) for women over 50; (2) for women 50 and under. It is preferred that actors come pre-memorized.
Appearance:
Please come without makeup. If you have a shawl or a scarf, please bring it with you. All clothing should be of neutral colors or earth tones: nothing too flashy. Plain is better. Be comfortable.
If they find someone who is represented by the Craze Agency, they will contact us to request your attendance.
LDS membership is preferred, but not required.
