'We Ain't Dead Yet!'

We are excited to announce our newest feature film project to be shot in Las Vegas 'We Ain't Dead Yet'. A hilarious comedy about two widows who are fed-up with their mundane and boring life so they decide to take a walk on the wild side. The ensuing antics will keep audiences laughing and wondering what the future holds for them. IndieSOS is paying for hotel accommodations on the strip, meals, and local transportation for those who are cast from the Los Angeles membership (limited to three actors).
ALREADY CAST:
HANNAH - Helen Lipton (Lead) Already
Cast Jewish widow holding on to the last vestige of her dignity. Little money,
huge heart, few friends, no family other than the park people. She must be warm,
unique and have a great sense of humor.
BUBBE - Marilyn Weinmann (Lead) Already Cast Jewish widow who refuses to accept her aging challenges. Strong personality, Extremely funny.
THE PARK PEOPLE
The park is full of street vendors and street performers that have become Sadie and Hannah's only family. They are a collection of odd, funny, eccentric people that we really enjoy seeing. Below are the breakdowns for these cast members.
BIANCA - Elena Dugo (Shaved Ice vendor) Already Cast A true Italian with a temper that is unmatched. Speaks broken English which causes all kinds of hilarious misunderstandings. Forget to pay her and you will find yourself in a foot race with an angry woman wielding whatever she could get her hands on. But like all of the park people we learn to love her.
SPIDER - Yisrael Sofer (Skateboard Kid) Already cast Young boy who dresses 'Goth' is always on a skateboard but spends more time on the ground than on the board. At first glance he is a trouble maker but when we get to know him he has a heart of gold, a shy personality and truly cares about people.
FINGERS - Nancy Yalley (Pick-Pocket) Already cast A photographer that takes pictures for people in the park. She is really a pick-pocket and often in trouble.
PROFESSOR - Jeff Vernon (Character artist) Already cast He draws what he really sees. That makes some extremely happy, others angry, mystified, concerned, but never uninvolved. An eccentric artist with a flare for seeing people as they really are and putting that on paper no matter what the consequence.
NOT YET CAST:
There are no requirements for Ethnicity and actors need only be at least 18 years old.
[ DOC ]
Not Cast (Blues singer - Music is primary score) They call him Doc because his music is good for what ail's you. A musical storyteller that that really hits home. Music will be the primary score of the movie. Playing guitar or harmonica is an asset.
[ DIGS ]
Not cast (Thug) Probably the most inept thug you have ever met. He tries to look the part and acts the part but he is just not the bad guy he tries to be.
[ UBAR ]
Not Cast (Yoga Instructor) Not like any yoga instructor you have ever heard of. An extremely strange and over-the-top individual that no one would ever believe could teach yoga. Unusual character wanted. Could be very large, very small, very tall, very thin, etc. A great character role.
[ NOISY ]
Not yet Cast (Mime) The mime that won't shut up. He styles himself as a new generation mime with the civil right to talk, tell jokes, and make as much noise as he wants. If you think other mimes are annoying wait till you meet 'Noisy'.
[ PINKY ]
Not yet Cast (Cotton Candy Vendor) Flaming gay cotton candy vendor. Very emotional, cries at the drop of a hat but we must love him.
[ KENNY ]
Not yet Cast (Painted statue) Painted as street statues they come alive and sing for park patrons Must have good singing voice. Boyfriend of Kandy and tends to want to sing too much to the women so Kandy feels obligated to take her turn. Dance skills helpful. Speaking role as well
[ KANDY ]
Not yet Cast (Painted statue) Painted as street statues they come alive and sing for park patrons Must have good singing voice. Her boyfriend who is also a statue tends to sing and romance the women so she fires back. Dance skills helpful. Speaking role as well
