NV, 'Tony 'n Tina's Wedding'
A Large Cat, LLC is casting future and immediate subs & replacements for the long-running Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding. Larry Pellegrini, dir.; Raphael Berko & Jeff Gitlin, prods.; Barbara Lauren, casting dir.
Project description: "The show is an interactive Off-Broadway show that spoofs an Italian-American wedding, complete with a pre-show cash bar, a ceremony and reception full of mishaps and mad-cap comedy, plus a buffet dinner with wedding cake, music and dancing."
Performances are seven nights/week at the Tony 'n Tina's Wedding Showroom in Bally's Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
Seeking—Actors: males and females, 19-60, acting experience & improv skills preferred, only outgoing personalities need apply, subs and replacements for all roles including—Tony: male, mid-20s, groom, handsome Italian, charming & rowdy. Tina: female, mid-20s, bride, pretty, party girl, tough. Barry: best man, late 20s, everyone’s friend, drug dealer. Connie: female, mid-20s, jaded bridesmaid. Dominic: male, mid-20s, party animal with a heart of gold (groomsman). Donna: cute, white trash, excellent singer. Josephine Vitale: Tina’s mom, late 40s-early 50s, strong-willed, overweight, a martyr (will also be a swing for Loretta Black, the caterer’s wife). Joey Vitale: Tina's gay brother, Italian, loves "show biz," not flamboyant. Sister Albert Maria: mid 20s, Tina’s cousin, a nun in training, family oddball. Tony Nunzio Sr.: Tony’s dad, 50, charismatic in a sleazy way, very Italian. Madeline Monroe: Tony Sr.’s girlfriend, early 30s, stripper, good looking and hard living. Father Mark: priest, 30s, thinks he’s hip and one of the gang. Michael Just: late 20s, Tina’s ex-boyfriend, just got out of rehab, a burnout. Sal Antonucci: photographer, 30-40, pushy, eccentric, bored with his job. Donny Dulce: male, late 20s, sexy leader of the wedding band, excellent pop singer. Vinnie Black: male, caterer, late 40s amateur comedian. Loretta Black: Vinnie’s wife, 30-40, brow beaten by Vinnie, outgoing, a little worn.
Auditions will be held Jan. 31, 3 p.m. (2:30 p.m. sign-in), at Tony 'n Tina's Showroom on the second floor of Bally's Casino, 3645 Las Vegas Blvd S., Las Vegas. NV.
Prepare a pop song to be sung a cappella.
