Integrity Casting is holding open auditions on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, for a feature film set to shoot at Lake Tahoe beginning October 7, 2013, according to an official with 775 Media Group.

The film is currently unnamed, however it is going under the working label of "The Shark Movie." A variety of roles are available, ranging from an 8-year-old boy to a 60-year-old man, according to an official with 775 Media Group.

Hi! I have just become a Stage Manager for  5Alive, a live streaming talent show and have been assigned to fill 4 weekly slots and the interviews for the talent to go with them. Although this is not a paying gig it is an excellent opportunity for talent to get exposure and promotion besides adding another item to their talent resume. We are looking for acoustic music (classic, jazz, country, etc...), voice talent, short skits (comedy, drama, etc...), quality monologues, etc... Now casting for a short film.

This is a rather small project, low budget. Copy and Credit. Were looking at 2 nights of shooting. Screen testing will begin very soon (most likely next weekend). We are casting a very exciting project, “The First Christmas,” produced by the Publishing Services Department of the LDS Church.  

To begin, we would like to concentrate on the casting of “JOSEPH.”  This story will be told from his perspective and most of the 3-5 minute video will ride on his performance.  

JOSEPH: Who we’re looking for…

Male, somewhere between 25-35 years old.  Applicants must have a solid background in acting (either for theatre or film).  He should definitely have “the middle-eastern look,” (ie: olive skin, dark-eyes, dark hair, and appropriate bone-structure).  It is a plus if the actor has a bit of length on his hair, although acting ability and performance will always win-out over great hair for this role.  His beard will be laid.

YOUNG JESUS:  Who we’re looking for…

Basically, if he looks and sounds like a 12-year-old boy, that’s great.  Acting ability will be the key to landing this role.  I highly recommend applicants memorize the side and come well-prepared to “Wow” us at the audition.  (Also must be temple-worthy LDS.)
In addition to needing a truly sterling actor for this role, we also need him to come with his own “longish” hair.  (Wigs on twelve-year-olds just don’t work very well.)  We are willing to dye it, if he is willing, so the racial constraints for this role are a little less stringent.

LDS:  All applicants must be active, temple-worthy members of the LDS Church.

WHEN:  These auditions will take place in 5-minute intervals from 9:00 am. – 6:00 pm., next Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013.

He is always one step ahead of everyone. Tends to enjoy life. (25-35 age, Lead) Benny: OCD Hotel owner that is the comic relief. Is Joe's right hand man. Sarcastic and always trying to get money in exchange for information. ( 21-26 age, Hotel Owner) Bobby: Head henchman for Rourke. Listens and follows orders but has a dislike for Rourke. Hates using violence. (25-35 age Villain) Rourke: Very intimidating head of affairs for Jimmy Green. His right hand man. Has a disturbing love and attraction for violence. somewhat psychotic. ( 30-40 age, Villain) Jimmy Green: Very wealthy owner of majority of real estate in town. CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS

YOUNG SOPHIE - 7-10 years old. Sophie is an outgoing young lady who is searching for her creative outlet. She wants recognition from her mother, and isn't afraid to go after what she wants. A very cute and fun personality. Will be needed for 2 days of filming, but will not be needed all day.

SOPHIE - Mid - Early 20s. Sophie is trying to find her voice, and truly see her art. She works with her mentor, Anthony. She doubts herself and her abilities, and almost gives up all she has worked for. A kind, dedicated personality who truly wants to succeed, but is lost. Will be needed for 3 or 4 days of filming - but will not be needed all day every day.

SOPHIE'S MOTHER - 30s or 40s - Sophie's Mother really wants the best for Sophie, but what she wants for Sophie, and what Sophie wants are different... and because of this she gets frustrated easily, and can be controlling.

ART PROFESSOR - 30s-60s - Sophie's art Professor has been in the scholastic system for a while, and has lost some of his touch. He wants the best for his students, and for Sophie... he just doesn't fully believe in her or her ability to succeed - and doesn't know how to get her to the next level. Will be needed for 1 partial day of filming.

TEENAGE SOPHIE - 13-17 years old. This is a non-speaking role, but is very important to the movie. Sophie grows up in the film, and teenage Sophie helps tell the story of Sophie growing older see the progression in her art. Will be needed for 2 days of filming.
