Actors do you have an iconic alter horror ego that you'd love to audition with your own interpretation and innovative flair?
This Wednesday we are holding auditions for a horror host to be in a feature film.
We are looking for an anthology host; a particular type of television or film host often tasked with presenting low budget
content in an amusing or informative manner. Examples: Twilight Zone, Elvira, Tales from the Crypt, and Alfred Hitchcock Presents. This is a paid opportunity for anyone over 21.

Date: Wednesday Sept 18th

2 days of filming in November as per talents availability.

The short films have already been created. The host will have 4 introductions into the short films at 2-3 min each.

Seeking artist submissions for a variety show, “The Connect Effect” highlighting song, dance, live music, aerial artistry, gymnastics, yoga, etc.  A theme of peace, oneness, family and connection is the primary focal point throughout the show and submissions should reflect this theme. 

 

The mission of this event is to raise awareness and to help the non profit organization Seeds of Peace provide free after school peace/yoga programming in and for public schools. Seeds of Peace, the presenting organization strives to plant these “seeds of peace” within each community student, with the hope that these peaceful seeds will continue to grow and spread throughout the school community and beyond to teachers, family and friends, recognizing that we are all united, and all here on our Earth to ultimately help each other out.

Northern Idaho-Two Theatre audiions!

Two local theater companies are seeking performers for two shows slated to hit stages later this year.

"Lend Me a Tenor"

Lake City Playhouse is holding auditions for the comedic stage farce, "Lend Me a Tenor." The community theater will stage the show Oct. 25 to Nov. 10.

Auditions are Aug. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the playhouse, 1320 E. Garden Ave. Cast hopefuls will be asked to perform cold script readings.

"Traditions of Christmas"

Laura Little Theatricals is looking for adult singers, and children who can sing and dance, for this year's production of "Traditions of Christmas."

They need 80 people for the show, Little said.

The positions are unpaid, but offer singers and dancers the chance to work on a show produced and directed by people with Broadway experience.

"It's an opportunity for them to be pushed and challenged," Little said.

The "Traditions of Christmas" director, Jeremy Lapp, recently helped direct the musical "Bonnie and Clyde" on Broadway.

Little herself has co-produced several Broadway shows.

She said audiences responded well to last year's production of "Traditions of Christmas," a Radio City Music Hall-style holiday spectacular that includes Dickens carolers, international Christmas customs, kick-line dancers, toy soldiers, Santa's workshop and a living nativity scene. The show will run Dec. 12-23 at the Salvation Army Kroc Center.

Auditions for Traditions of Christmas will be held Sunday and Monday at the Harding Center, 411 N. 15th St., Coeur d'Alene.

Male and Female performers are needed to bring to life the world famous Disney Characters. Character performers play before thousands of guests each day in “meet and greets”, across the Walt Disney World Resort. Some performers may have the opportunity to perform as Disney Characters in our parades and events, and as Disney Character Look-alikes.

We are also seeking performers for Full Time Character Performer roles for Shows and Parades across the Walt Disney World Resort. Our performers bring to life shows such as Festival of the Lion King, Fantasmic!, and many more!

Additionally, we are seeking female Disney Princess Look-alikes. Performers develop improvisational skills, poise and grace while working for one for the world's leading entertainment companies.

**Please note that all performers, including those in our Shows and Parades, and Disney Character Look-alikes, also perform as fully costumed Disney Characters. This involves wearing potentially heavy costumes, some with limited vision and range of motion, and exposure to the heat and humidity.**

What to expect:

All performers will learn a simple movement/dance routine. Following this routine, there will be an initial cut. Selected performers will then learn additional dance routines, as well as animation exercises.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing, allowing a full range of movement. Dresses, skirts, tight jeans, flip flops, or high heel shoes are not recommended.

**NOTE: Many dance studios do not allow street shoes. We recommend bringing a clean pair of dance shoes or sneakers, in your bag, to change into upon your arrival.

A short comedy about friendship, ducks, and bullets.

Based on true events, the film revolves around two college friends, Jordan and Benjamin.

It’s their last weekend before Benjamin leaves to the Peace Corps, which gives Jordan one last chance to persuade Benjamin to stay. 

To do so, Jordan decides to indulge in the great American pastime of handguns by going on a shooting trip neither of them will ever forget.

All-American Joe. Looks and sounds like the great Western spirit is still brewing from within.

Preferably a huskier and more intimidating build, but no particular height and weight in mind.
