This is a short being produced locally.

Supporting roles $100/day. This will be a SAG shoot. As far as shooting dates we're kind of up in the air waiting on casting, but are trying to shoot as soon as next weekend. I am seeing people tomorrow at my office. 

Here is the cast breakdown:

RUTH:  SLC / 40s or 50s woman who's seen a lot of over the years. Weathered.  Small town woman.  Could have been a truck driver, but runs a cheap roadside hotel instead.  Memorable face.  Caucasian.

SAM: 18, Tries to act cooler than he is, but seems vulnerable under the surface.  Scrawny.  Caucasian.

FRANK:  30s - 50s menacing looking man.  Low-level crime soldier.  Caucasian.

MOTHER:  No lines, almost a featured extra but important role.  30s Hutterite woman, conservative looking.  Caucasian.  We have some ideas for this role but if you have someone in mind after reading the script that would be great.

LITTLE GIRL:  6-10 (should look around 8 or 9) Not a blonde Southern California girl.  Conservative.  She has one line, but her role is essential.  Mustn't feel 'Hollywood', she has to have a small town girl look.

Auditions and Crew Call for Feature Film – “Problem Officer”

Ex Machina Films, winner of the 2012 and 2013 Salt Lake City 48-Hour Film project and winner of the SLC Downtown Alliance “I am Downtown” video contest are seeking principal roles, day players and extras for the upcoming low-budget feature “Problem Officer” shooting in September.

Auditions will be held Saturday, August 24 at City Home Collective, 645 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City from 10:00am to 12:00pm and from 1:00pm-3:00pm.

Available roles include, but are not limited to:
Angie – Female, early 30’s, any ethnicity.
Harper – Male, late 30’s/early 40’s, African American.
Father Smith – Male, late 20’s, any ethnicity.
Big Man – Male, 40’s/50’s, any ethnicity.
Simmons – Male, 50’s, any ethnicity.
Kilgore – Male, late 20’s/early 30’s, athletic, any ethnicity.

I am shooting a commercial that is targeted at the Indian (india) market and need two kids who look/talk like they could have starred in Slumdog Millionaire.  Boy must be talkative, and able to tell a story (basic familiarity with Indian lore a HUGE plus) Girl character will play the enamored young girl the boy is trying to woo.

Las Vegas, NV today Thursday, August 15th. Regional casting search for the film "Midnight Special" - directed by Jeff Nichols! At this time, we are looking for the following only:

BOYS - CAUCASIAN (ages 6-10) to play age 7/8. We are looking for kids with unique personalities and looks and are especially interested in kids who may have a special intelligence or wisdom (gifted and talented students, kids with unique interests, etc).
