Idaho-Contemporay Dancers paying contract!!!

Casting Idaho Dance Theatre's entire 2013-14 season. Producer states: "Idaho Dance Theatre is a half-time, professional contemporary company with rehearsal and performance space located at Ann Morrison Performing Arts Center in Boise, Idaho. The repertory is highly eclectic, challenging, and contemporary. Daily ballet class is provided in addition to physical therapy."

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Contract runs approx. 27-30 weeks (15-16.5 hours per week); season runs early Sept. 2013-late April 2014, with 12 concerts in Boise, ID.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

Video audition requirements

An effective audition video must include a comprehensive indication of your training and performing abilities. Include ballet center work showing adagio; turns of all kinds including en dehors, dedans, arabesque, turns in 2nd etc.; and jumps- petite and gran.

If you are not classically trained, we need to see that you have solid standard dance technique.

Most importantly, include a diversity of contemporary/modern choreography showing different speeds, qualities, floor work, and partnering. Include other styles you are proficient in such as; hip hop, break, etc.

If you send performance video, which we encourage, please clearly identify which dancer you are.

While we initially accept video auditions, we may ask for an in-person session with a dancer for further serious consideration.

Looking for Male Actor for Short Film

We are looking for a male actor between 30 and 40-years-old. With professional appearance and good facial expression. Height is not important but an average complexion would be perfect. 

 

It's something very simple but with a powerful message. The filming would take between 3-5 hours and would be an afternoon or evening on a weekday.We will shoot in digital and you'll notice that the results we obtain are very professional. 

 

We're improvising, we are a couple of friends who have already made some shorts films together with good results. 

 

This is a monologue so this is a good opportunity to show off your skills as an actor. 

The budget is small and comes directly out of our pocket, and the final product is not something that will be commercialized. So we can't offer financial compensation at this time but only $100 dollars for your work, food, and a very good work environment. Plus a copy of the short and still images for your demo.

Couch Talk with Gamer Girls is an incredible TV show to give new heights for women empowerment in the video gaming industry! The show is a Reality-Talk show hybrid with live interaction and a competitive voting element. The show will maintain a cast of 6 to 8 gamer girls. Each episode the girls will discuss video game topics with each other and their viewer base. The girls, in good spirit and fun, will also compete with each other through video games and their viewers. They will also conduct fun segments to stay on the show. Viewer voter-ship and participation will help maintain a Gamer Girl’s individual spot on the show as a counter balance to the competitions. The show will also have guest stars from the video game industry. When possible, female celebrities will sit in with the Gamer Girls on the show. YouTube celebrities will also be encouraged to join the show through skype video calls. The hash tag for the show is #ctwgg

Details:

The major portion of the show will be broadcast every Saturday on undisclosed private properties for the safety of the cast. Special episodes and segments will also be done at discretion of each individual Gamer Girl. Promotion content apart from Saturday broadcasts is also expected of each cast member where applicable as described in the talent agreement. Preliminary promotional content for Couch Talk with Gamer Girls is being produced through to the end of July. Casting pool for this las vegas tv show casting call is being built up. The reason for this is because immediate replacements will be needed for any Gamer Girl who loses her spot on the show. So this las vegas tv show casting call will indefinitely run and stay open to any qualified female video gamer. Cast (except for guest stars) will be under a 1 year talent agreement that allows them to return onto the show at any point within a year. The show’s production manager will run a crowd funding campaign in order to keep the show’s production quality competitive with other major network television shows. Hinging on the success of crowd funding campaign, the show will also fund one episode a month as a cosplay episode where the Gamer Girls will get to dress up in high quality costumes of their favorite video game and / or anime characters. The show’s target is to stay current, exciting, and constantly engaging with its audience. We look forward to having you on the show!!

Utah-LDS Asians needed non pay

NEEDED: College-aged Asian volunteers to participate in an upcoming Mormon Message for Youth. We will be reenacting a story told by Bishop Stevenson during the October 2012 Priesthood Session of General Conference.

WHEN: Friday, July 19th at NIGHT. We will begin after 9:00pm and continue until we are done (we hope to wrap by 3:00am). Not everyone will be needed for the entire time, but some will.

WHERE: Downtown Salt Lake City.
