What:
Open audition for dancers for Pioneer Theatre Company's 2013-2014 season.

Who:
Trained dancers, over age 18, interested in paid performing opportunities in one of PTC’s mainstage productions during the 2013-2014 season should attend this call. 
 
When:
Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 3:00 p.m.
 
Where:
Auditions will be held in Room 245 at Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre, located at 1300 E. 1400 South, on the University of Utah campus.
 
Other Details:
Please bring a picture and resume and be prepared to dance. Ladies should bring both flat and character shoes, gentleman should bring jazz shoes or jazz sneakers. There is no singing required at this audition.

Children's Auditions for Elf—The Musical

What:
Children's auditions ONLY for Pioneer Theatre Company's production of Elf—The Musical.

Who:
•   Children, ages 8-12, who sing and move extremely well for roles in the ensemble.
•   Boy, age 10-13, who sings and moves well with a big outgoing personality to play the role of "Michael."
 
When:
•   Sign up for slots will begin Thursday, August 15th in Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre.
•   Auditions will be held Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
•   Callbacks will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013. (Those auditioning on August 22nd will be notified if they are going to be called back by September 3rd.)
 
Where:
Auditions will be held in Room 245 at Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre, located at 1300 E. 1400 South, on the University of Utah campus.
 
Other Details: All children will be asked to sing a song of their own choosing, preferably in traditional musical theatre style, and then be prepared to move. An accompanist will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothes and dance shoes or sneakers. A photo and resume are recommended.

Based upon the New Line Cinema film written by David Berenbaum

Director will be Dan Knechtges; the Choreographer will be Liza Gennaro and the Musical Director will be Tom Griffen. Rehearsals begin November 11, 2013, opening on December 6, 2013 and closing December 24, 2013, with a possible extension through December 28th.
 
Please note that this production will rehearse on Sunday, November 24, 2013. This allows everyone Thanksgiving Day off, and will be the only Sunday work day.
 
Auditions for adult roles will be announced at a later date.

LAS VEGAS - AUDITIONS FOR JUBILEE! AT BALLY'S

The longest-running show on the Las Vegas Strip invites male and female singers, dancers and showgirls to audition.

Donn Arden's Jubilee! at Bally's Las Vegas is seeking new talent for the show.

The auditions will take place Monday, July 22:

Male Dancers: 10:30 a.m.
Female Dancers and Showgirls: Noon
Male and Female Singers: 2 p.m.
Principal Dancers: 3 p.m.

Bally's is located at 3645 Las Vegas Boulevard South.

WHO: Showgirls as well as female and male dancers and singers. Dancers who demonstrate dance experience in tap, jazz and ballet. Female and male singers must perform two types of music: Up-tempo Broadway style and ballad. All female dancers, singers, showgirls must be 5'8" and taller and all male dancers and singers must be 6 feet and taller.

Our three sponsors, JIF To Go, Etelmann's Little Bites, & GoGo Squeeze Apple Sauce will have product there for our team to hand out samples of. 

This is a super fun and very easy promotion. We seek very outgoing personalities and extremely friendly people. If you are shy, this job is not for you.

Rate is $14/hr with checks cut on August 2nd. Craze commission of 15% will be due the following week!

Commissions are due on all projects where you have been paid directly from the client.
This is a friendly reminder that  Commissions are due within 7 days of receiving your check. 10% of the Gross before taxes are due on all Extra work where compensation is less than $100. Anything over $100 is 15%. Any Acting, Modeling, Dancing, Promotional Modeling, etc... is 15%.
We will be receiving lists of Talent who have worked and on what days. If we do not receive your Commission in a timely manner we will be forced to remove you from the active Craze Agency Database. We do not want this to happen so make sure you take care of this when you are paid.
Normally it can take 2-5 weeks to get paid from the date(s) you worked. Let us know if you have not been paid.

If you have paid your Commissions or have recently worked on a project where you have not received payment yet, disregard this notice and we appreciate your promptness.

All Craze Agency Talent-How to correctly email your photos for projects!

Some of our clients have complained that when our  talent is asked to directly email a photo to them, the photos are not emailed in the correct format.  Usually the files are way too large. This clogs up their system and many times your email is rejected because the file is too large

.When it does not ask for a photo do not email one, we will do it for you.

We want to help you please read and follow these instructions and always use this format. Good Luck

Please follow these simple steps very carefully.

Go to http://pixlr.com/    

Next click on Open Pixlr editor (Advanced) or  http://pixlr.com/editor/ 

Now click on the correct type of Image from the menu that pops up to open up the image of your photo. If you have saved it on your computer, click on OPEN IMAGE FROM COMPUTER etc.

Now click on the image you want to open and click open. Make sure when you initially save your image that you note where it is saved so you can find it to open it.

At the top of the screen click on Image and then Image size.

Now make the Image size about 500 pixels wide and 750 pixels long, then click OK.

Now go to the top of the screen and click on file.

Then type in your first and last name-Craze Agency (Example Mary Johnson-Craze Agency) have the format below JPEG and the quality good. Now click OK.

Remember where you save it on your computer.

Now when you email your image, while the email is open click attach file. This will open a box. Find where you saved the photo and click open. This will attach your photo to your email.

That is it!

This will make the photo large enough for the clients to view it and it is a size that is easy to open up and will not clog their email system. This will make it much easier for them to want to book you.

Also typing your name in the format we asked makes it easy for the client to find your photo and know who your agency is.

There are other ways to do this depending on your system.  Just Google “how to save photos for emailing” and you can get more help. Thanks
