YOUTH PIONEER PAGEANT AUDITIONS​
Each summer, the Youth Pioneer Pageant is performed within the West Jordan Arena in front of tens of thousands of spectators. This summer, the Youth Pioneer Pageant will be held July 22, 23 and 24th. To be a part of this amazing event you must audition in person. The information concerning the auditions is as follows:When:
May 14 & 15, 2013

Time: 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Where:​ Concordia Preparatory School
             12723 S. Park Ave, Riverton, Utah

Time Commitment: 

June 12 - 29 (select dates during this time)

July 11 - 24 (doesn't include Sunday's)

Performance Dates: July 22, 23 & 24th beginning at 8:30 pm with cast arrival mandatory at 7:00 pm.​
You must attend ALL rehearsals and performances.

Lodging: If you are from out of town and unable to drive to rehearsals and performances because of distance, you must obtain your own room and boarding during your time in West Jordan for the Pageant.

Age: You must be 7+ years of age at the time of the performance dates to be in the Youth Pioneer Pageant.​
Be aware that nights can be late, cool and occasionally wet.

What to Bring to Auditions: Come  prepared with a short monologue if auditioning for main character roles.



​Brother Brigham: Come prepared with a 30 second song for brother Brigham.  ​

​Cast: For cast dancing and singing you need to come prepared with about a 30 second dance routine and about 30 seconds of a song.The Youth Pioneer Pageant celebrates this pioneer legacy and ensures that history is not forgotten. Proceeds from the Pioneer Pageant will benefit local deaf and hard-of-hearing children with the gift of hearing through the Olive Osmond Hearing Fund.

A confident young magician is invited to a birthday party, it being his first gig he is determined to not let anyone mess it up.

However amidst the chaos of energetic children, he sees a jolly old clown. Feeling somewhat territorial the young magician decides to do all he can to show the clown that he is a much better performer then he. Greatly annoying the clown.

When the magician finally performs, everything goes wrong. The clown at first relishing in the magicians failure, soon decides to take a different approach

FEMALE SINGERS will also need to prepare at least one of the following (Background Tracks will be provided): One Moment In Time (Whitney Houston), All By Myself (Celine Dion), Beautiful (Christina Aguilera), Candyman (Christina Aguilera) or S&M (Rhianna).

Utah-Sandy Arts guild Audition ages 15 up!

Thoroughly Modern Millie
Sandy Arts Guild

Auditions for the Sandy Arts Guild's production of Thoroughly Modern Millie will be held on Friday, June 7, 7-9:30 pm and Saturday, June 8, 9-11:30 am. Jan Shelton Hunsaker is director. Eric Richards is the music director and Marilyn Montgomery is the choreographer. The show plays at the Sandy Amphitheater August 9 - 17.

Needed are men and women ages 15 and older. All roles are open. Please be prepared with a 45 - 60 second monologue and 16 bars of an upbeat song in a similar style to the show. Please bring music properly marked with starting and ending points; no minus tracks. An accompanist will be available.

The directors have requested that all auditioners bring a list of scheduling conflicts between June 10 and August 17, a current photo and resume.

Callbacks are by invitation only the evening of Monday, June 10, and Tuesday, June 11, if needed. All auditions and callbacks will be held at the Sandy Parks and Recreation building, 440 East 8680 South, Sandy, UT. Reserved audition times are recommended, but not required. You can reserve an audition time online. Thoroughly Modern Millie will perform August 9-17 at the Sandy Amphitheater.

We are currently producing a non-union short film for a senior thesis project. As this is a student film, the casting call with be relatively informal and held at the directors home. We welcome experienced professionals, beginners, and first timers.

The Space Between Film and Video Unit is holding auditions for the short film, "Stan the Man," winner of TSB's 2012 Short Film Scriptwriting Competition. Film productions of The Space Between are entered into international film festivals, and have a successful track record of recognition and awards.
