ABOUT: BEAUTIFUL is a seductive musical about the
dramatic journey two first-time producers and their cast of dancers face
as they pursue center-stage stardom on Broadway. The performances of
the dance company will take audiences on a thrilling journey through
decades of music that incorporates sexy and seductive smash-hits ranging
all the way from the 1920's to current day. BEAUTIFUL
brings world-class dancing, captivating vocals and a powerful storyline
together for an all-new musical theatre experience. This is a sexy show
but is NOT A TOPLESS SHOW.
CASTING: We are hiring professional, hard-bodied and beautiful cast members for the following immediate openings: 7 principal cast, 3 supporting cast, 6 female and 3 male ensemble dancers.
Please read below for specific role requirements. We will provide
professional compensation and benefits. BEAUTIFUL has been in the making
for two years. The show has been work-shopped and built in Los Angeles
and is now launching in Las Vegas.
START DATES: Rehearsals start the end of May 2013. Public performances begin July 2013.
RUN NOTES: BEAUTIFUL is a non-equity production that
is contracted to run at the Boulevard Theater in Las Vegas. The show
will run six nights per week with two shows per night. We will begin
with one show per night (T/W/Th 9 PM, F/S/Su 8:30 PM) and move to two
shows within 6 months of opening.

COMPENSATION: Pay for each role is listed below in the CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS.
PERFORMANCE RATES ILLUSTRATE WEEKLY COMPENSATION FOR 1 SHOW/NIGHT.
It is anticipated that rehearsals will continue after show has opened
and performance compensation will cover both performance and continued
rehearsals. WHEN THE SHOW MOVES TO 2 SHOWS/NIGHT COMPENSATION WILL BE MODIFIED. Please
note that this is guideline pay and is negotiable based upon talent,
star-level, etc. Benefits will include paid time off as well as
shared-cost healthcare plans.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
PRINCIPAL CAST
ROLE: Serena
TYPE: Female Principal
AGES: 20-30
ENTHICITY: All
SKILLS: Must be able to sing, dance and act.
PAY: $1000/week rehearsal, $1800/week performance
ABOUT: Serena is a lead performer in
Meliss and Troy's dance company. She is a highly-talented performer and
vixen who is easily distracted and uses men for her amusement. She has
difficulty expressing any real feelings of love.
ROLE: Natalie
TYPE: Female Principal
AGES: 20-30
ENTHICITY: All
SKILLS: Must be able to sing, dance and act.
PAY: $1000/week rehearsal, $1800/week performance
ABOUT: Natalie is a lead performer in
Meliss and Troy's dance company. She is a newcomer to the dance world
and is somewhat naive. She has a good heart and wants little to do with
the scandals Serena is often involved in.
ROLE: Tara
TYPE: Female Principal
AGES: 20-30

SKILLS: Must be able to sing, dance and act.
PAY: $1000/week rehearsal, $1800/week performance
ABOUT: Tara is a performer in Meliss
and Troy's dance company. She likes to drink, party and is typically a
bad influence on Serena, Natalie, and the rest of the performers.

TYPE: Female Principal
AGES: 35-50

SKILLS: Must be able to sing and act. Light dancing ability also required.
PAY: $1000/week rehearsal, $1500/week performance
ABOUT: Meliss is a highly-talented
former Broadway star turned producer who works alongside Troy building a
new Broadway musical. She is a diva and still very much enjoys the
spotlight. She acts as a mother figure to the members of her and Troy's
dance company.
ROLE: Matt
TYPE: Male Principal
AGES: 20-30
ENTHICITY: All
SKILLS: Must be able to sing, dance and act.
PAY: $1000/week rehearsal, $1350/week performance
ABOUT: Lead male dancer in Meliss and
Troy's company. He is an attractive guy who is caught in a love triangle
between Serena and Natalie. He is an honest and real person who wants a
real relationship.

ABOUT: Troy is a former Wall Street
investor turned producer who works alongside Meliss in building a new
Broadway musical. He is driven, analytical, and has a passion for
beautiful women.
ROLE: Lorenzo

ABOUT: Lorenzo is a nightclub owner and
former lover of Meliss. He has a good heart but has always been lazy in
life and had things handed to him. He inherited the nightclub from his
father and has fallen into a sleazy lifestyle.

ABOUT: Highly trained and sexy performers (casting three performers).
FOR THE AUDITION
FEMALE and MALE SINGERS need to come prepared with a
contemporary pop or pop musical theater up-tempo and ballad of your
choosing. You may bring backing tracks or sheet music in the correct
key. An accompanist and CD/MP3 player will be provided.
FEMALE SINGERS will also need to prepare at least one of the following (Background Tracks will be provided): One Moment In Time (Whitney Houston), All By Myself (Celine Dion), Beautiful (Christina Aguilera), Candyman (Christina Aguilera) or S&M (Rhianna).
MALE SINGERS will also need to prepare one of the following: Jailhouse Rock (Elvis Presley) or Living La Vida Loca (Ricky Martin), What Kind Of Fool Am I (Sammy Davis Jr.)
DANCERS
You will be taught combinations from the show. Wear clothes that show
off your body. This is not a topless production but the dancers will be
scantily clad and must be comfortable performing sexy and erotic
choreography.
