PROJECT: “Heavenly Father’s Path Back Home”

LOGLINE: God has not left his children alone without guidance to the pathway back “Home”.  Like a navigation system, the Spirit witnesses to the truth of prophetic words from both modern and ancient prophets – and encourages his children away from danger, along the Savior’s proven path back “Home”.

BASED on: an address by Carol F. McConkie, “Live according to the Words of the Prophets.”

SCRIPTURE: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Proverbs 3: 5-6)

 

CASTING: Five Youth (3 male, 2 female) in their late teens (16-18). Can be any ethnicity. Must be physically fit and able to hike a distance.

 

ACTION: The group of youth will hike together in a wilderness using a map to find their way around dangerous cliffs and obstacles. While horsing around, the map falls unnoticed from a pocket. Without their map, the more they walk, the more lost and frustrated they become.  With the sun setting, the hungry, thirsty, tired, cold and fearful teens stop at a fork in the road to discuss their options.

 

SIDES: The script is still in process. Please be sure to include your talent’s personal e-mail address so we may send out SIDES as soon as they are available. Everyone will receive their side at the same time and we encourage auditioners to prepare adequately. Without a personal e-mail, talent will come to the audition unprepared and handicapped against the competition.

 

ACTING CALIBRE: The Producer has strongly advised that this is not for beginners. He has requested actors who are fully capable due to experience and/or actor training. Competition will be high-level.

 

LDS: All applicants must be active members of the LDS Church with a current temple recommend, or bishop’s clearance.

RATE: $500/day,
