HOW to AUDITION:

You’ll be uploading your video audition to YouTube. Here are the steps:

(1) Dress in a clean white shirt w/ tie. Hair combed, etc. Look like a missionary.

(2) Place yourself in front of the video camera in a medium-close-up shot, like this:

Make sure the lighting around you is highlighting your face, not the back of your head. (ie: no back-lighting)

b. Sit close enough to the camera so we can hear you clearly without other sound interference and speak clearly.

(3) Slate your full name, age and agency (if you have one).

(4) Take no more than 30 seconds to tell us a joke: Any joke you want. Of course, this is for The Church, so use your discretion as to the subject-matter. What we are looking for is…

(5) Upload ONE TAKE ONLY to YouTube and enter the link in the online Application Form.

DR. DRAKE FODERA - Italian American, Male, 30’s - Recent medical school graduate thrown into the ER and various scenerios. Overly kind and patient. Hard working.

APRIL JONES (Recurring) - the younger of 2 daughters left behind when mother married well. She is drug addicted, sexually addicted broken shell of what could have been a promising young woman, she is addicted to her husband’s physical beatings, uses her own children to distribute drugs. Routinely steals from others, and is always running a scam with the grocery store or bank, and is forever able to convince her mother that she is the victim of someone else’s plan. She did not graduate from high school, and for one brief semester in Jr. High, she was popular and well-liked, but after that she was forever branded a second class citizen. She reeks of evil. In and out of prison/jail and will never escape the system.

BOBBY JONES (Recurring) - 17-19, Big build, quiet, troubled, loyal, honest and protective, makes mistakes but has a huge heart and will always be there for his friends - new kid in town (even 7 years in) trying to make connections that matter, very competitive, working class parents, always resents Joey.

DAVID JONES (Recurring) - 17-18, All American Jock and scholar with the slightest intellectual
edge. Tan, fit and involved in every sport. The quiet, popular boy that holds his stuff together. Kindhearted, beautiful soul, glasses, brown wavy hair.

We are looking for our cast for a short film called Lagrima. It's an adaptation from the mexican bed time story of a woman who drowns her children and walks the shores of a river calling for them. It is a horror film and will be done in spanish. below is a description of what/who we need. We will be casting at the Art Institute of Salt Lake City at 121 W. Election Rd in Draper by the Ebay building, it is for a senior thesis film and will have a very small amount of cash for our cast. We will be holding auditions at the school on February 20th from 3:00pm to 10:00pm.

 

This is a short time piece scary thriller about the struggles of women with there husbands cheeting. Maria C. Struggles to deal with catching her husband cheating and does the unthinkable with her children. Meribel is later in the same position and struggles to find the truth of what has happened to her once wonderful life.
