We are looking for a young dynamic personality that can be the face of our 46 video (5 minutes per) recovery program. We prefer a male between the ages of 20-28. You'd need to be good on camera and be able to feel comfortable reading a teleprompter. We want someone that can relate to a younger audience and connect with them on their level. Actor must have a "hip look" with the attitude of a "cool older brother". 

You'd be teaching teenagers about the harmful effects of pornography as well as educating them on how to overcome their addiction. BYU Casting a comedic short film titled You and Your Cocoon. There are two leads who we will be paying a daily rate of $150 and one supporting role who will be paid $100 a day. This said rates are negotiable. 

Jed one day encounters his life long best friend and current roommate in a

mysterious cocoon and must learn how to adapt to change. Your Cocoon and

You is a comedy about acceptance and trashy hipsters. 
 

MAJOR ROLES:

[JED] 25 Jed is a dirty hipster. Think Urban Outfitters, but from a dumpster. Jed

doesn't want to grow up, he lives off of unemployment checks and his best friend

Tony. He is slim with shaggy hair. Sports a mustache and facial scruff.

[TONY] 25 Tony is an ex-gamer and sci-fi movie lover. He is in a transitional

stage of trying to actually act like an adult. He is engaged to a girl he knows is

too cool for him. He is trying to look like a "J-crew kind guy," but he doesn’t have

it in him. Average height and weight.

 

MAJOR SUPPORTING ROLES:

[KARA] 24 Engaged Tony, the love of her life. She is very tolerant of his “past

lazy ways.” Average height and weight. Pretty. Kara dresses well, but simple--

never too flashy, nothing frilly, she is definitely not a tom boy.

My name is Bryce Hess and I'm sending out this notice for a friend who is casting his Senior Project this Friday from 6-9pm. It is a short film called "Fight", written and directed by Tim McQuivey, and follows a young man, Keomi, as he prepares for a "parking lot" cage fight.  He doesn't receive a whole lot of support, but firmly believes it's something he has to do.  The parts he needs filled are:

Keomi: A 20 year old male.  Needs to be in excellent shape, as he is a cage fighter.  Fight experience a plus.  Always told he can't, so he's proving he can.

Taya: A 20 year old female.  Keomi's girlfriend.  She loves him, and worries for him and his upcoming fight.

Dad: A 60 year old male.  Keomi's dad.  Recently lost his wife, and unsupportive of Keomi.

The Crypt: Age non-descript. A cage fighter, that looks like something from a horror movie. Needs to be in excellent shape. Fight experience a plus.

This is an open casting call, and sides will be provided at the audition which is located at the Art Institute on 121 West Election Road, Suite 100, Draper, UT 84020-9492

 

This is a non-budget film, and it will shoot February 15-17.

Nampa Children's Theatre is holding closed auditions for the roles of Dickon, Archibald Craven and Dr. Craven for our upcoming full musical production of "The Secret Garden". We are looking for a young, talented gentleman, age 11-13 for the role of Dickon. We are looking for two teen boys, ages 15 and up for the roles of Archibald and Dr. Craven.
