We are going to be making a spinoff series from the hit show Supernatural. We are preparing for the pilot episode and need some additional help.

For the first episode we will be looking for:

2 female characters (previous acting/stage combat/dance/martial arts experience preferred but not required)

1 male character (previous acting preferred but not required)

1 location (barn or abandoned building)

Anyone with film experience or prop design skills.

This is very low budget to start off, but if you love Supernatural and would like to be part of the Supernatural universe, this is your chance.

Pioneer Theatre Company Auditions

Each audition slot is five minutes. All auditioners will be asked to read from the script; sides will be available at audition sign-up.

WHEN:

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2014 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM is reserved for AEA only; 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM is open to both AEA and non-AEA auditioners.  

 

Callbacks will be on Saturday, November 22, by invitation only.  

WHO:

Auditioners must be 18 years or older. A headshot and résumé are recommended. 

HOW:
All auditioners must come in to sign up on the callboard in Room 325 at the Roy W. and Elizabeth E. Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. The sign-up sheet will be posted on Friday, October 24, 2014.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN

 

 

John Barrymore: (Early 40s)  Handsome, sexy, charming, and ironic. Although best known as an old-time Hollywood movie star, he is equally adept with Shakespeare, and is among the 20th century's greatest Hamlets. This role requires an actor with classical training, impeccable Standard American speech, comic flair, emotional subtlety, and expert swordmanship.

 

Andrew Rally: (Late 20s)  Handsome, young, charismatic lead of a newly-cancelled television series. A high-gloss layer of California sunshine has only faintly dimmed his Jewish background. This role requires an actor with classical training, great charisma, strong sense of humor, emotional nuance and first-rate ability with a sword.

 

Gary Peter Lefkowitz: (Late 30s)  Highly successful television director who's only interest in life is making "the deal."  He is a walking cliché of what New Yorkers think of Hollywood. Jewish, very charming, superficial, and not the least bit interested in culture. The role requires an actor with expert comic sensibility and warmth.

 

Deirdre McDavey: (Early 20s)  Pretty, ethereal, bohemian and highly romantic. An actress of limited range who is Andrew's virgin girlfriend. A Valley girl imagining herself as a Bronte heroine. The role requires an actress of great warmth, sensitivity, earnestness and subtle humor.

 

Felicia Dantine:  (Late 30s)  Colorful, vivacious, successful New York real estate agent with a tall, showgirl's body. A fad-ish dresser of questionable taste, she possesses a proud, Queens, New York accent. The role requires an actress of great charm, charisma, confidence and humor
 

Lillian Troy:  (Around 70)  An elegant, silver-haired woman with a deep, resonant smoker's voice and cough. A talent agent of great renown and taste, based on the late Helen Merrill, she speaks with a regal German accent. The role requires a commanding presence, grace, humor and old-world class.
