Shooting a fun viral video for the web that is a spoof of The Price is right. We will be filming on Wednesday the 16th.
We are looking for a girl to play the part of "Vanna White", you need to be at least 5'10. Would like to have you email your headshot and stats to us for review to casting@troystubbs.net .

We will also be looking for background actors for contestants and audience members, we would love for you to be dressed up ie.. cowboy/cowgirl, suit/evening gown etc. Please come dressed to the Murray Theater (4959 South State Street, Murray, UT 84107) from 10 am to 12 pm for selection and then we will be shooting that afternoon.

This is going to be an all around fun shoot.

We need two promotional models for the dates of January 17-27 to be our client, TYLT's, "human charging stations" during Sundance Film Festival.  

 

To explain a little more in-depth, our client TYLT, is a leader in the mobile accessories arena and will be taking part at one of the big events during Sundance.  We are looking to hire two models to showcase and wear their new Battery Backpack which allows you to charge your phone and tablet on the go.  The girls will be interacting with media, explaining the product, giving demonstrations and also charging the media's phones throughout the week.  We just came back from CES and the girls we hired there were so fantastic and generated lot of press, so we would like to keep the trend going! 

While understanding the start date is right around the corner and availability may be a bit scarce, we are open to having different girls each day, however we do have some specifications that need to be met: 

• We must have 2 girls each day from the dates of January 17th - 27th (10 days total).

• The girls to be slender and in shape as they will be wearing a green spandex one-piece.

• The must be well spoken, intelligent and outgoing as they will be speaking to the media about the features of the backpack and the client.

[ WILLIAM KAMP] Male: (40s ) Caucasian. After the loss of his wife, William struggles to

provide for his family during the Great Depression. At Christmas time, when it looks like there

will be no gifts, he comes up with a plan to teach his children the true meaning of Christmas and

the importance of giving. [LEAD]

[ MRS. RATHBONE ] Female: Caucasian, ( 50s) An elegant, but bitter woman who keeps to

herself. When she finds out that Norman has trespassed on her land, she makes his already

difficult life even harder. [LEAD] 

[ NORMAN KAMP] Male: Caucasian (11/12) When Norman was a little boy, he contracted

Polio, which made his left arm useless and weakened his legs. Norman is a plucky, honest kid,

who just wants to be treated like everyone else. When he sees a white horse on Mrs. Rathbone’s

property, he makes friends with the horse and dreams of being able to ride her, to show his

family that he is able to achieve whatever he puts his mind to. [LEAD] [MUST BE

COMFORTABLE AROUND HORSES]

[MISS MAYFIELD] Female: Caucasian, (30s) Miss Mayfield, the new school teacher, could be

pretty if she cared to try. She’s strict, but fair. When Miss Mayfield introduces a ‘Giving Box’ to

her students, all the children vie to be the one to win it. [LEAD]

[RUTHIE KAMP] Female: Caucasian, (8/10) Ruthie is the sassy, opinionated, lovable, youngest

child in the Kamp family. Ruthie wants to win the Giving Box more than anything else. When

Lenny Bigler cheats to try to win the box, Ruthie is forced to examine her own motives. [LEAD]   

[WARREN KAMP] Male: Caucasian, (17) Warren loves his family but wants to rise out of the

poverty that suffocates him. He wants to have enough money to court Helen Jones, but he feels

that he has nothing to offer her. When he finds a job that could give him what he wants, he is

devastated to find out that his father will not allow him to pursue it. [SUPPORTING LEAD] 

[VERNA KAMP] Female: Caucasian. (18) Verna stepped into her mother’s shoes right after she

died. But her secret wish is to attend college and become a nurse. She feels trapped in the home

caring for her siblings, but doesn’t express her feelings to her father. When Miss Mayfield steps

in and tries to convince William to allow her to go to college, it causes conflict between Verna

and her father. [SUPPORTING LEAD]

RUSSELL KAMP] Male: Caucasian. (14) Russell is a quiet, shy peacemaker who loves

baseball. When his father tells him about the plans for the Christmas surprise, Russell does all he

can to make sure he finds the perfect gift. [SUPPORTING LEAD]

[HELEN JONES] Female: Caucausian. (18) Helen is one of the popular girls, the daughter of the

town doctor. She’s shy, and sweet, and has set her cap for Warren Kamp, but when Warren

refuses to pay any Attention to her, she thinks it’s because he doesn’t like her. She is delighted

when Ruthie tells her that Warren has a crush on her. [SUPPORTING]

[LENNY BIGLER] Male: Any ethnicity (12/14) Lenny is a skinny, homely kid who loves

nothing more than to create havoc wherever he goes. He delights in bullying the Kamp kids.

When Ruthie and Lenny get into a race to win the Giving Box, Lenny finds out that there’s only

so far you can push someone before they retailiate. [SUPPORTING]

[MAE JONES] Female: Caucasian, (8/10) Helen’s little sister and best friend of Ruthie. Mae

would also love to win the box, but when she finds out that Ruthie wants it more than she does,

she stops doing the good deeds that are needed for her to win.

[ESTHER ANDERSON] Female: Any ethnicity. (8/10) Friend of Mae and Ruthie. Esther’s

mother doesn’t like Ruthie playing with Esther because Ruthie is a tomboy and has to wear

Norman’s old overalls to school.

[CARL DUNHAM] Male: Any ethnicity: (12/13) Lenny’s sidekick and partner in crime.

[TOMMY] Male: Any ethnicity. (11) Norman’s best friend. When Norman trades a whistle for a

ride on Tommy’s sled, Tommy gets in trouble with Warren.

[FRANK] Male: Any ethnicity. (14) Russell’s friend. Frank helps Russell with his Christmas

gift.

[MR. MUELLER] Male: Caucasian. 60s. Mr. Mueller owns the local hardware store. When

Norman comes to him with a problem, Mr. Mueller is only too happy to help.

The reason Craze Agency increased bookings substantially over the last year is we do not spend a ton of time calling and emailing you unless you are booked! We spend the time finding the opportunities, promoting you, negotiating you deal, booking you on the specific job, then billing the client and making sure they are happy and use us again.

When we do send mass email alerts, we do not have time to segregate them based on sex and location, they just go out to everyone.  If you see an email that does not fit you personally, just disregard it.

Again, it is important that you check your email and the Blog regularly. Only certain projects are emailed to you, whereas manyof our castings that are currently available are posted on our Blog site. Some email accounts might spam or junk certain mass email alerts from Craze depending on their contents. If you are checking the blog, you are seeing everything!

Sometimes we submit your head shots and resumes if you fit a client’s needs to try to induce the clients in showing interest in you. This is usually done if we have worked a lot with the client, or are trying to get a new client. We also use this tactic when a job has more flexibility on dates, rates, locations etc. This is called a direct booking and we often do not even post these. Many times we have submitted you and will only contact you if they are showing interest.

If you submit for a project and are not picked please do not get discouraged! Your time will come when you are right for the job so be persistent.  Most people fail in this business because they are either not properly skilled or they want things to happen to quickly and get discouraged and quit before their big opportunity comes.

We know that sometimes it is hard when you are not contacted when not picked for a particular project, but we must use our time wisely. Often the client does not give us a time line or notice when they will be choosing the talent. We want you to succeed and are doing everything we can to assist.
