Ziegfeld Theatre Company proudly announces auditions for Fiddler on the Roof. Directed by Caleb Parry, Produced and Music Directed by Rick Rea. Fiddler runs February 6th through March 7th in Ogden, then March 13th through 22nd at the Egyptian Theatre in Park City (**not to be confused with Peery’s Egyptian in Ogden).

ALL Roles Available.

$100 stipend for the Ogden run, plus $30 per performance in Park City. ($310 total). Additional stipends may be available for actors commuting from at least 25 miles away.

Volunteer (non-paying) roles MAY be available for actors under the age of twelve. Children over five years old are encouraged to audition.

To schedule your audition, send an email stating which audition date you would like to attend to rickrea@zigarts.com. (Please attach resume and headshot if you have them.) Please bring sheet music with a 30-60 second selection from a Broadway song in the style of the show. (You may bring a song from Fiddler, but bring a second song in case we want to have you sing something else). Accompanist provided. Please no recorded music (CDs, mp3’s) or a cappella auditions.

Rehearsals will be held at The Ziegfeld Theater starting early December. Pending actors’ availability, rehearsals will be held Mon-Thurs evenings and Saturday mornings (breakfast provided). Rehearsals will not be held Dec. 23rd through 26th, or New Years Eve.

Performance Information:

Feb 6th through Mar 7th, Fridays and Saturdays 7:30, plus some Saturday 2:00 PM matinees (meals provided to cast between shows on double-show days in Ogden.) Fiddler then tech’s in Park City from March 9th - 12th, and performs from Fri, March 13th through Sun, March 22nd.
