November 17 - 18 -- Stage Coach Theatre auditions for its producton of "Of Grapes and Nuts", written by The Illegitimate Players and directed by Lora Volkert. This play is a spoof of the John Steinbeck classics "The Grapes of Wrath" and "Of Mice and Men".
Needed are 4 adult women and 9 adult men. Actors wishing to audition need not prepare monologues, all audition material will be provided during auditions.

NV, Sesame Street Live National Tour

VEE Corporation, producer of family-friendly stage productions, is holding an open call audition for future tours and replacement positions for "Sesame Street Live!." Missy Adzick, casting dir.

All tours are bus-and-truck and run approximately 10 months. Non-union.

Seeking--Dancers: males and females, 18+, to work as full-body costume characters requires dancers who are versatile, with strong technical ability in jazz and musical theatre dancing styles, in the height range of 4'10" to 6'1", gymnastics and tap are a plus; Live-Mic Singers Who Dance: females, 5'2"-5'7", live-mic, “face” roles, no fur or fleece full-body costumes, must be able to dance well, sing, and act.

Auditions will be held Nov. 6, 10 a.m. (sign-in begins at 9:30 a.m.), at Backstage Dance Studios Studio B, Las Vegas, NV.

Bring pix & resume and wear or bring dance attire. Dance combinations will be taught to all auditioners, dress to move. Live Mic auditioners should prepare two vocal selections, 16 bars each: ballad and up-tempo (a capella or to instrumental CD). Also prepare an upbeat, brief (one-minute, or less) monologue appropriate for family/children's theatre. To be considered for a live role, all performers must first complete the dance portion of the audition.
