UTAH - STUDENT FILM PROJECT - GREAT TO GAIN EXPERIENCE AND FILL OUT YOUR RESUME!

Student film project and an unpaid production. However if you have talent that would still be interested or new talent trying to gain some experience in front of a camera, we'd be more than happy to have them aboard.

Casting is on October 6th between 10:30 and 1:30 in the South Jordan Library conference room. Please email us to set up a time and to let us know which role(s) you are interested in. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments will have priority.

Applicants for lead characters should have a flexible weekend schedule when given a few weeks notice. Though we are looking for certain accents, pulling off the spirit of the character is more important than a certain appearance.

We also need extras and some featured extras, so if you just want to hang out on set and get your feet wet in the film industry you're welcome to join the fun.

We are looking for the following leads:

Patricia -  An English lady with a spitfire personality and an expert with firearms. Looking for someone who resembles a woman in her 20s to mid-30s and can pull off an English accent.

Leonardo - An introvertive inventor who travels to the West on promises of hitting it rich quick. He is imagined with a French accents, but another European accent is welcomed if it sells the character. Age should resemble mid-20s to mid-30s

Wilhelm – The refined and well-to-do boss of a local gang of cowboys. He is in his 30s-40s.

Other roles will become available as new episodes are written so even if we don't cast you at first we'll keep you in mind for future roles.

UTAH - PAYING! PROMO MODELS NEEDED FOR ACTION SPORTS EVENT FEMALES & MALES AGES 16-30

Flowrider World Championships.
Soloman Center, Ogden Utah

October 11th from 10-2pm.
October 12th from 1-5pm.

Rate is $20 per hour (4 hour shifts each day)
In addition, talent can choose from an assortment of apparel prior to each session.
These items are theirs to keep!!!

We would like to hire 6 "extras" (4 girls, two boys) to populate media day
in advance of the competition. This 4 hour assignment would require the
talent to be on location, wear a Carbon T-shirt or hat, be available to
take photographs with our team and be in the background during interviews
ect. A professional "Darth Vader" performer will make an appearance for
Carbon. We would want our extras to pose for pictures with this character
as well. The objective is to highten the visiual pressence of the brand
and to appear as team Carbon supporters in a venue that is not yet
established by Carbon.

Style note: Our brand has a nocturnal vibe with a palette of largely
black items. We would request individuals between 16 years of age and 30.
Girls should be fresh 'model types" with a hint of sex appeal. (The flow
tour audience is primarily young males.) Boys should look like fans of the
action sports industry.

Downtown Films is casting "Zombie Apocalypse," a one-night-only event. Producers state: "This Halloween, an alley on the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Fremont St. will be turned into a Military Evacuation Zone overrun by Zombies. Downtown Films and Silver State Productions will produce this one-of-a-kind haunt with the help of the world-renowned 'Senator of Scare.'" Ben Tucker, head of production; Nick Benson, props; Tim Stover, production advisor.

There will be two- to three catered weekend rehearsals; event takes place October 31, 4 p.m.-2 a.m. in Las Vegas, NV.

Idaho-Tons of parts ages 8 and up

The Music Theatre of Idaho, the Treasure Valley’s professional-quality, live musical theatre company, has announced auditions for the upcoming 2013 season. This professionally managed production company is unique in offering performance training and onstage opportunities, on a professional level, to residents of the Treasure Valley. Anyone over the age of eight may audition for a place in the 2013 company.

MTI is seeking approximately 200 performers to fill roles in eight musical productions in the new season. Vocal screenings are set for Nov. 3 at the MTI training and rehearsal facility in Nampa.

Productions scheduled for the coming year include: “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” “Little Women,” “Some Enchanted Evening,” “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” “Guys and Dolls,” “The Pirates of Penzance” and “A Christmas Carol.”

A large company of singers, dancers and actors will be cast to fill a variety of roles from lead performer to chorus. Men, women and children are needed to fill roles in all the shows.

I would be using them mostly for fitness. Pay is $50 for travel, then $20/hr for the first shoot with a minimum of 2 hours. The studio is in Duchesne, about a 2 hour drive from Salt Lake City. Models used will also receive a copy of the images if they desire. The shoots will be for stock images. We mainly focus on Fitness, Business, Western, Casual settings, but are open to other ideas.  Any model that comes to the interview with ideas will have a better chance at getting a spot.  If they are creative it is very helpful to us.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Kids Fest is a program to entertain families as they shop their GGP malls.  It’s fun, free entertainment for kids!  Staff teams will facilitate the event in registration, craft stations, face painting and games.  An onsite DJ will provide music and emcee services throughout the event.  This is a one day event.

STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Model Shift: There will be several different positions the brand ambassadors/model will have.  The responsibilities include guide visitors through the registration process for the various prizes, giveaways and games.  Also will interact with children by leading the various games and activities at the mall.  Must be comfortable with all duties. 

Overbook Model: You will be scheduled as an ON-SITE Overbook, show up at call time, along with rest of the full-shift staffers. IT IS IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER THAT YOU WILL BE SCHEDULED FOR 2 HOURS IN THE E-PLANNER, BUT YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE ENTIRE SHIFT. If all full shift staffers show up at call time, you will be dismissed immediately, and paid for 2 hours of your time. (You probably wouldn’t be on site more than 15-20 minutes if you are not needed.) If someone is missing, you will assume their full shift and work the entire shift, and be paid for the entire shift. Overbook models must be comfortable with both the Model and Misc. positions duties.

STAFF ATTIRE:  

Pants – khakis; clean, no pockets, holes, etc. 

T-shirts provided

Shoes – comfortable shoes, tennis shoes are good options

Parking will NOT be reimbursed.

Note: All staff will be getting a background check.
