WANT TO ACT IN A STUDENT FILM? UNIV. OF UTAH ACTING AUDITIONS THIS FRIDAY & SATURDAY!

An excellent opportunity to gain some acting experience, get exposure, and add to your resume.
Many U of U student films have gone on to win awards and play at film festivals like
the Sundance Film Festival, and around the country. Some have even played on television.

AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 14 & 15.

Bring a prepared monologue that best showcases your abilities and style. If you don’t have a monologue prepared – no problem!
We will have a selection of monologues you can read from.

Utah- Models needed for Exercise Equipment ages 20-35

We are having a casting call and wanted to know if there were any Craze
talent that might be interested. We need only serious, dedicated people.
Budgeted Rate: $300 for a half day. We need each talent for 2
separate half days. So they will earn $600 total.
Casting Day/Time: Thursday 9/13 - 11am to 6:30pm
If a great option can't make it, we may be able to make an exception and
see them on Saturday 9/15.

**4 Models needed for a video and photos featuring Exercise Equipment.**
Usage: Unlimited Buyout

Each model needs to be fit/athletic. They will be using exercise equipment
such as treadmills, elliptical trainers and stationary bikes. The male will
have his shirt off with jogging shorts. The women will be wearing exercise
wear, so flat stomachs are a must. Please have them wear exercise clothing
for the audition so we can see stomach, arms and legs. All roles are
non-speaking.

- 1 Male: Age 20 to 35. Caucasian, African-American, or Ethnically Ambiguous
Height: 5'7" to 6'2" (If they're too tall, the equipment looks small.)

- 1 Female: Age 20 to 35. Caucasian - blonde

They will work 1 day (likely 4 - 9 pm for the kids under 14~~~ and 4 - 11:30 pm for the older kids and adults.. but don't hold me to that as an absolute)  The shoot dates are Sept. 24, 25 and 26.. but again, they will work one of the 3 days... this is a 3 day shoot to get all of the vignettes in.

Spot # 1  = Best Friends - There is a lot of action and acting between these two characters... so, they do need to be able to look like they could be friends - 

I will try and arrange for all actors who fit the profile to move directly to callbacks with the director.  If need be to see them earlier (for prescreen) to get them on video for approval, that will be Thursday  9/13 afternoon with callbacks tentatively set for Saturday 9/15 in the morning. 

This will shoot Sept. 24, 25 &/or Sept 26... They will be split shooting days (meaning an 11:30/12 noon type of call - split day and night shoot) The other spot (Let Fun Reign) will shoot the night portion of the 3 days.

It will pay $450... per shooting day (will be all 3 days) - (Non-Speaking) Internet only use.. NON-BROADCAST!!!  But obviously, with internet.. there is no cycle, so the buyout is in-perpetuity.

Casting call for female talent for a short cooking show series we are filming over the next few weeks. We are doing a series of videos called "Mike's Corner" and we are looking for a co-host for Mike. We want to film about 10 cooking shows in total and each video, when finished, is only going to be about 3 minutes long. The shoots will not take more than an hour and we will pay the talent $150/shoot. The first filming is going to be next week on Wednesday 9/12.

The talent needs to be charismatic, have a fun personality, be fit and attractive, and in their 20's or older but not look too young. The casting calls are anytime from 10-12am and from 2-4pm on Monday 9/10 and Tuesday 9/11.
