Bob Conder Along with Director MarSchelle Walker are going to make a, just for fun no pay, short film "Best Laid Plans" later this month. One day shoot.

 

We thought you may have some talent who want to audition for the  lead roles.

Open auditions will be held  July 12th from 5-6:30PM at

There is no age description given to Craze but it looks like 25 and over

CYBERSPACE OPEN 2-11


1 EXT. CITY STREET - AFTERNOON 1
The end of another busy work day. Everyone has a
determination in their step. Suits and blue collars all
trying to get home after a successful day of meetings and
manufacturing.
An attractive well dress woman, BARBARA GOLDSTEIN, is among
the pulsating crowd. She carries a briefcase, a blueprint
case, and a cell phone ear piece.
BARBARA
...I know I was the one who
designed it. There was storage of
every kind, level upon level with
double locking mechanisms, plenty
of security designed into the
plans. We had even added more
surveillance you felt it was
necessary.
INTERCUT
2 EXT. CITY PARK - AFTERNOON 2
A rough and rugged man dressed in Levis and a blue denim
shirt, MICHAEL, sits on a park bench, cell phone to his ear.
He is casual but clearly focused on the conversation.
MICHAEL
That’s the issue. You designed it
and there is never enough security!
Anyone can add a closet here or a
camera there.
3 STREET 3
Barbara stops cold in her tracks.
BARBARA
Don’t you throw that at me. You had
a good job, a great group of people
all at your beck and call, and you
just quit.
4 PARK 4
Michael takes a deep breath and sighs, resigned.
MICHAEL
... I didn’t quit. It was suggested *
I move on. *
5 STREET 5
Barbara hails a cab.
BARBARA
(calmer)
Moving on is not sitting on that
stupid park bench everyday waiting
for some miracle to fall in your
lap. Moving on is doing something
different. Something bigger and
better.
MICHAEL (V.O.)
Sometimes doing nothing, is bigger *
and better. You don’t understand
that do you?
Barbara gets into a cab.
The radio plays Kenny G. *
BARBARA
(to cabbie)
5th and 72nd, and could you kill
the music.
MICHAEL (V.O.)
I like Kenny G, it calms the
nerves.
BARBARA
(intense)
I am calm Michael. Just like your
park bench calm and serene.
MICHAEL (V.O.)
Tell me about the design. Tell me
about your thoughts.
BARBARA
.... This design is flawless. Lines
that compliment and enhance one
another. Glass, steel, and sky with
landscaping to augment and add
color to the total immersion of
emotion one feels.

6 PARK 6
MICHAEL
Sounds nice.
Silence, the kind when you run out of things to say.
BARBARA (V.O.)
I really hate the waiting.
MICHAEL
See you on Friday?
7 CITY STREET 7
Without a word Barbara hangs up the phone and looks out the
cab window as it starts to rain.
8 PARK 8
Michael closes the phone as raindrops fall. He sits back and
looks to the sky.
He stands and walks across the grounds, handing the phone to *
a prison guard.
MICHAEL *
Thanks. *
9 CITY STREET 9
The cab pulls over, Barbara gets out and walks into an *
alleyway. *
10 ALLEYWAY 10 *
There is steam, no trash, very clean. *
Barbara deposits the cases in a dumpster, pulls leather *
gloves from her pocket. *
Ahead of her are a few men, Benny on his knees securing *
something to a door lock. He stands and turns his head away *
as do the others. He pushes a remote button. *
Blue (mm/dd/yyyy) 3
BARBARA (CONT'D)
The lock sparks, the door opens. *
With perfect timing Barbara walks through the open door. *
BENNY *
How’s Michael? *
The boys follow. *
As the doors close behind them, we read the letters, *
“Goldman’s Importers of Precious Antiquities.” *
FADE TO BLACK. *
