Auditions are being held for the SLCC Short film "Steve From Accounting Vs. The Shadow Dwellers ". Written and Directed by Paul & Patrick Gibbs.

The open casting sessions will be held at the SLCC South campus on Tuesday, June 12th and on Thursday June 14th from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

ACTORS MUST BE ABLE TO SHOOT SOME TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS DURING THE DAY IN JUNE OR JULY.

Unfortunately, this is not a paying gig, but it is a guaranteed imdb credit, and demo reel piece. The film will be premiering at the Salty Horror Film Festival in Park City this November and playing in a number of other festivals with national exposure, and I'm looking for people for a only one day shoot, so there is minimal commitment required.

Story synopsis:
Steve From Accounting Vs. The Shadow Dwellers is a comedy/horror film telling the story of Steve Burrows, an average guy working for a major corporation. One day, when daydreaming causes Steve to get off the elevator on the wrong floor, he stumbles across a bloodthirsty Satanic cult of "Shadow Dwellers" performing human sacrifices in his workplace.

I'm looking to fill the following roles.

BIKINI GIRLS -- female, 18-25.
Very attractive, must look good in a bikini and be comfortable appearing in one.

This is for a scene when Steve, our hero, hears someone mention "the secretarial pool" and has a bizarre daydream."

Production will begin shooting on or around June 26th and will take place in the Salt Lake area, we will be filming primarily on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

THIS IS NON A PAYING GIG, but it is a guaranteed IMDB credit and great demo reel piece, as it will be shot on top of the line HD cameras and be of the highest professional quality.

ComedySportz Boise is holding open auditions on Thursday, June 21st at 6:30pm at The Boise First Church of the Nazarene Community Center, 3852 N Eagle Rd., Boise, ID  83713.

ComedySportz is fast-paced, family-friendly improvisational comedy, played as a sport. Two teams take turns making up scenes, playing games and singing songs – and the audience votes on which team they like the best. It's all presided over by a referee, who keeps things moving, calls the ComedySportz fouls and takes suggestions shouted out by the audience before each game.

There are ComedySportz teams in over 20 cities in the U.S., and two in Europe. Randy Reese, founder of ComedySportz of Buffalo and 20 year improv veteran, is heading up the new ComedySportz Boise team.

For the audition, you do NOT need to bring:

Frankly, we don't care about any of that. What you DO need is:

The Utah Idaho Performing Arts Company is casting Pirates of Penzance, the Gilbert & Sullivan opera, and Hansel & Gretel, the Humperdinck opera performed in English. Joey Calkins, dir. Pirates of Penzance—Major-General Stanley; Frederic; Sergeant of Police; Chorus: singing, dancing chorus of pirates, police, and Major-General Stanley's daughters.

Hansel & Gretel—Hansel: mezzo-soprano, a 'pants-role', double cast; Peter: the father, baritone. Note: The roles of the Dew-fairy, the Sandman, and the children's chorus will be held at a later time. The other roles in these operas have been cast from the previous round of auditions. Depending on the singers/actors acceptance/rejection of the role, other roles may be available.

TOTB LLC will be filming a new web series between JUN 4 - JUN 16. We are looking for a 5 year old actress to play the part of Michele - an adopted girl for 1 day during the shoot. Will be directed to pretend she is sad / scared. Pretend crying a plus! Pay is $25 per day
