Utah Grand Theatre

The Grand Theatre, located at 1575 South State Street, Salt Lake City, will be holding auditions for "Into the Woods" on Saturday, May 19, 2012. The auditions will be from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will be held in the Annex, located at 1610 South 250 East, in the south east corner of the South City Campus. Neil Vanderpool will be directing the production and it will run in October 2012 at the Grand Theatre. Rehearsals will begin September 1, 2012.

Those wishing to audition will need to call the Grand Theatre box office at (801) 957-3322 to schedule an audition time. Actors should bring sheet music to sing 16 bars of an upbeat Musical Theatre piece NOT from "Into the Woods." An accompanist will be provided. This production will include three youth actors and adults of all ages. For a list of roles and more information, please visit our website.

Performance dates: October 11-27 (no Sunday, Monday or Tuesday performances)
Times: Evening performances 7:30pm, Saturday matinees 2:00pm on October 13 & 20

Boise-Film Coming needing alot of talent

We are now looking for talent for the upcoming horror film this summer.
Auditions will be most likely in a few weeks. We want to get a large amount of people first. Pay is back end upon distribution.
Roles Open: (ages don't have do be exact, just look close)

ALEXIS: A lawyer, stern, but a hidden side that makes her alluring. She ends up being a villian in the end. (25-35)
BARRETT: Overweight man that is laughable and fun. He cracks under pressure though and freaks out. (22-32)
CABIN CHIEF: British Accent, Think the Bellboy from 4 rooms, quirky and weird. Ends up evil in the end. (30-45)

Claire is a easy-going and friendly person at heart. Especially the case with Eric, who genuinely calls him her favorite customer, and finds him to be an overall terrific guy. While she also shares some feelings towards Eric, her wish to leave behind a past she rather forget makes things complicated.
