April 14 & 15 - Stage Coach Theatre auditions "Laughter on the 23rd Floor". Directed by Becky Kimsey. Needed are 7 men and 2 women. 2pm each day at the theater. The play takes place in New York City in the 1950's. But Yiddish and Russian dialects are also needed so brush-up on your Bronx, your Oy Vey's and your Wooodka! This will be a cold reading but you must also tell a joke or a funny story as part of your audition.

We will be having Auditions on March 23rd & 24th at the St. George Library. Please bring a prepared 1-3 minute monolouge. We will have everyone first perform their monolouge, then possibly cold-reading scenes with other auditionees. We will be holding these auditions on Friday from 3-5:30 and saturday 10-1. We will then be having call-backs (by invitation only) later saturday from 2-5:30. You will be cast by the directer, casting directer, and other judges on our panel by 1- physical similarities to the character and 2- your acting ability fitting to that character. It is not required you read the book before auditions, however it could make the difference in wether or not you get the part, plus you will be required to read it if you are cast. Everyone is welcome to audition. Non paying.
