(RENO) AUDITIONS

The Reno Bighorns will host dance team and National Anthem auditions for the upcoming NBA D-League basketball season.

Dance tryouts are at 3 p.m. today in the South Reno Athletic Club, 9393 Gateway Drive. Auditions will be judged by Ron James and Falen Bonsett, hosts of Wild 102.9's Ron and Falen in the Morning. KOLO 8 reporter Lauren Garber also will be a judge for the event.

National Anthem auditions are from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 26 in the Reno Events Center. Auditions are open to the public. Reservations are not necessary.

The Reno Bighorns' first home game is at 7 p.m. Dec. 2 against the Bakersfield Jam.

WEB SERIES LOOKING FOR MALES LATE 20S-50 YRS OLD!!!
      I am looking to find a male who could be the on
camera talent for a web series teaching people how to install specific
products in their homes and giving them DIY tips for kitchen and bath
remodeling.  Mostly we would be doing videos of installations of our
kitchen products.  This would be an ongoing project and we would shoot
once a week or so for the next few months, although that may change.
The actor has to look good on camera, be comfortable with basic handy-man and simple repair
skills.  He would need to be able to lift 30-40 lbs on occasion in the
videos.  We will be working with a very small crew of 1 or 2 people
and will be shooting full days with a break for lunch where the actor
will be able to leave for half an hour to an hour.  The pay for this
will be $150-200/day

BIG OPPORTUNITY PAYING PHOTOSHOOT-LET CRAZE KNOW ASAP!!!!

 I have an upcoming shoot in SLC for a party atmosphere around a grand piano.  
  I'll need four adults, male / female, age 30-45. WE NEED ALL RACES!! We'll shoot 1/2 day, afternoon on 21 October. 


I also will probably need a school music director looking person, similar age, ethnic or not on Saturday, 22 October for 1/2 day at Judge High School. I may need a second for the afternoon.
Since the age group is similar I could pick the music director from the same group (but they must tell me they are available 22 Oct. This is a UEA weekend. So please alert them.

We need Black kids for 22 Oct. ages 10-14 years old

For the adults we have a budget of $300 each.They will probably only be on camera for a couple hours, but additional time will be for makeup and wait time. We will probably rotate them, but only 1-2 will end up dominate in the final photo. The other 2-3 will be in the background. I'd imagine we'd start around 1:30-2:00 on Friday, 21 October.

Details: We are looking for outgoing, approachable, fun, and hip looking staff. Loving Budweiser is a plus!

Staff will assist with the waiver process at each event; assist with handling ‘Crews,’ assisting the Tour Management staff with all other on-site event activation duties and details.  Greeting attendees, directing crews, encouraging crews, photo booth area, talking with consumers (not brand messages, just engaging) Must be able and willing to work outdoors, we will be registering people outside of the venues.

Staff will be selected via headshot and resume so PLEASE submit photos of available staff to send to the client for approval.

Parking will NOT be reimbursed.

 

Attire: Nice 'going out' hip jeans (no holes, frays or rips) with shoes (no tennis shoes or open toed) heals or other stylish shoes. Must be hip and ‘rock ‘n’ roll.’ This is s sticking point; models who show up in something not appropriate will not work.  A branded shirt will be provided.

Staff Request: 6-8 (They will be working on a much larger team but need a couple more people to meet the client's staff request)

Staff Criteria: Females must be 21 to work and no older than 35. Clean cut and attractive, they don’t have to be smoking hot the client just wants to make sure that they are going to fit the "All American" look.

 

All Inclusive Bill Rate: $12/hr.

(UTAH) Chick Magnets film needs Extras!!

We are in need of high school aged actors to be extras in one scene of our feature film 'Chick Magnets'. The scene is a Prom scene, so actors will need to dress in Sunday best. Nothing too fancy, though. It will be filmed in Mapleton. 125 West Community Center Way (400 N.) Mapleton, UT 84664. It will be filmed on Saturday Oct. 22nd at 5pm. Any underage actors need to have a parent present or written permission from a parent or guardian. The roles are non-paid but a great chance to appear in a feature film. Charles Dickens’s

A Christmas Carol

The Festival Playmakers program is seeking actors and singers,

ages seven to seventeen, to take part in the fourth annual

production of this holiday classic.

❅Auditions will be October 17 from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the Randall Jones

Theater. Callbacks will be held the following day. Performers should be prepared

with a memorized piece, 15-30 seconds in length.

❅Rehearsals will be weekdays

from 4-6p.m. beginning October 26.

❅Performances will be in the Randall Jones Theater,

evenings and afternoons December 15-17.

❅Cost of the program upon casting is $200. Auditioning is free.

AUDITIONS

MIGHTY GOLIATH PRODUCTIONS — For it’s 53rd season, Mighty Goliath Productions in Avon Lake will be performing “Oliver!” the hit Broadway musical based on the Charles Dickens novel. Auditions for children will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesay and noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 22. Auditions for adults will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 22. All auditions will take place at the Avon Lake United Church of Christ on Electric Blvd. The show will be performed at the Daniel B. Ross Performing Arts Center at Avon Lake High School on Feb. 10 to 18. All who audition are asked to sing a short musical selection and provide sheet music for the accompanist, plus bring appropriate shoes for choreography and be prepared to read. Both boys and girls will be considered for the children’s principal parts and chorus. All youth performers will be chosen by audition. A parent should accompany youth at the audition.
