November 12 - 13 --  Boise Music Week auditions for its production of "The King and I". Saturday, November 12 from 10am -4pm and Sunday, November 13, 1pm -4pm. Please prepare a two minute song, preferably from a Broadway musical. A piano accompanist will be provided; please, no cd accompaniment and no accapello. Also, wear comfortable shoes, there will also be a short, easy, dance audition. No prepared piece needed for that. Auditions are by appointment only. Auditions for PTC’s production of Charles Morey’s original comedy Laughing Stock will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Callbacks are scheduled for Wednesday, November 2, 2011; that time will be announced to auditioners who are called back.
 
Audition slots from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1 are for Actors’ Equity members only. Audition slots from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. are open to all auditioners. The audition slots are limited to five minutes.
 
Non-AEA auditioners must come in to sign up on the callboard in Room 325 at the Roy W. and Elizabeth E. Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre; that sign-up will be posted at noon on Tuesday, October 25. (Reno) Auditons!!!

The Reno Bighorns will hold dance team auditions at 2 p.m. Oct. 15 at the South Reno Athletic Club, 9393 Gateway Drive.

Necessary qualifications include: a strong background in dance, significant experience in choreographing routines and knowledge of the flow of basketball games.

Dancers must be 18 or older and able to commit to all 24 home games. They also must be available for weekly scheduled practices, attendance at special events and community appearances.

The Reno Bighorns home opener is Dec. 2.

Cost: Preregistration $25. Preregistration deadline is 5 p.m. Oct. 14.

Day-of-audition registration is $30.

"Forgiven" (UTAH AUDITIONS)

Silver Screen Cinema Productions is having a casting call for a short film entitled: Forgiven.

Synopsis: A slave hand named Thomas is accused of murdering Jacob, the son of Thomas' owner, James. James gathers a mob to find him. When people are out for revenge, can forgiveness be found?

We are casting for one scene to be filmed on Saturday, October 22nd. This scene will be used to post on Kickstarter to raise money to shoot the rest of the film. 

Our casting dates are as follows:

Thursday October 6th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Friday October 7th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Saturday October 8th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

(UTAH)$100 per day 60 and older BYU FILM!!! AUDITIONS TOMORROW!

 I'm casting for a BYU short film called Dance that stars an elderly male and female who move well. We increased our rate to $100 per actor per day, for a 4-day shoot (instead of $100 total); more based on experience, or if we really want the person. 

Auditions are by appointment only this Wednesday (Oct 5th) 5-6:30pm in Provo.  At the audition, they will be asked to do some behavioral movement and dance improvisation.  There's no dialogue and the script is attached -- it's only five pages long.  

Breakdown:
