Linder Farms Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze is looking for bands and other entertainment (dancing groups, family singing groups, etc.) to play on our 34' x 12' raised stage. Auditions will be held this Friday, September 23rd from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the LDS Motion Picture Studio in Provo (300 West 2230 North-directions below).

The shoot is currently scheduled for October 10th and 11th.

The position is paid, but I have yet to confirm the rate with the producer.  I will send a follow up email with the rate.

  - From I-15, Take Exit #269 - Exit Eastbound and continue on 1300 South in Orem for about 3.3 miles.

  - Turn LEFT (East) at the light marked 2230 North: You will need to be in the left-hand turn-lane at the light.  (LANDMARK: An Olive Garden is on this corner to your left.)

  - The drive into the LDS MPS is on the LEFT immediately following the drive that goes into Taco Time.  Look for a dark gray sign, low to the ground: “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Motion Picture Studio.”  (If you cross the bridge, you’ve gone too far.)  Continue down the lane toward the Studio where you will check-in at the Guard Booth and park in the West Lot.

 

Directions from South of Provo:

  - From I-15, Take Exit #266 "US-189 N/UNIVERSITY AVE/1860 SOUTH" exit

  - Continue straight to follow S. UNIVERSITY AVE/US-189 N (Northbound)

  - Turn LEFT on 2230 North.

Performed for the last 12 years from Moscow Russia to Cedar City Utah. This heart gripping inspiring TRUE story of a Pioneer families' journey of faith and hope is back, this year to be performed at the Covey Center in Provo Nov. 1st & 2nd. With all original music and choreography this show takes you from the docks of England to the prairies of the American frontier to the heart of the Salt Lake Valley. Some paid roles available.

Requirements for all Auditioners:
- Must at least 18 years of age.
- Please come prepared to exhibit your acting and dancing skills. (Dance styles: some ballet would be preferable for female auditioners, and for all auditioners, we will be teaching short segments of Irish, American folk and Waltz style dances from the show.)

Rehearsals begin: Mon 26th of September
Rehearsal Schedule: Every M,W,Th 7-9:30pm Sat 12-3pm (not every cast member will be needed at every rehearsal)

UTAH- RADIO SHOW - CHARACTER VOICES!!

I am developing a radio show and seek select actors and actresses to be part of an improvisation troupe. A talent capable of contributing to this show will have an interesting character voice(s) and the ability to work from a script in keyword and concept form.

The show will parody existing talk radio formats while exploring topical interests with a very different and interesting tone.

ARE YOU FUNNY????
 Spokane's favorite (and as far as we know, only) sketch comedy group, Rube Goldberg Device, is looking for new cast members. Rube Goldberg Device has been featured in the Inlander and performs bi-monthly at the Blue Door Theater.

Auditions will be held at the Blue Door Theater (815 W Garland Ave.) Sunday October 2nd at 4:30 pm.

Please come prepared with a 2-3 minute piece that will showcase your comedic acting talents. An original creation is preferred but not required. There will also be some cold reading involved.

A typical RGD show includes improv, live sketches and video sketches. Improv experience is a plus. Increased consideration will be given to those with strong character work. Since all RGD shows are original creations, being able to contribute to the writing process is also a plus.

Potential cast members need to be able to attend rehearsals which are generally on Sunday at 4:00 pm and Monday at 7:00 pm. Saturday and Thursday rehearsals may be added approaching show date.
