Auditions for “Thoroughly Modern Millie” will be held on Thursday, September 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, September 17 from 9 to noon at the Midway Community Center, located at 163 W. Main, Midway.  Call backs will be Tuesday, September 13 from 6 to 9 in the same location.

Performances will be December 10, Dec. 16, 17, 19-22 in the Midway Town Hall, 145 W. Main.  In addition, there will be two dinner theater performances on December 14 and 15 in the Town Hall. Audition packets with rehearsal schedule and role information can be downloaded at www.highvalleyarts.org after August 15 at 6 p.m.

The theater company has received high marks for the professionalism of its productions.  This will be it’s fifth Christmastime production.  The dinner theater is an early sellout.  Some gas compensation is granted for those traveling from either SLC or Provo/Orem.

Tap dancers are particularly needed, even those with somewhat rusty skills.  Auditioners should come prepared with 32 bars of a Broadway song.  Accompanists will be provided.  Ellie Gallagher, show choreographer, will teach a short dance sequence.  Auditioners will read from the script. There are also a few non-singing, non-dancing roles.

Reality Entertainment Group, Inc. is casting an upcoming live reality show for the web. Producers state: "The reality show is defined under Theta Psi Tau Social Fraternity hereinafter referred to as Fraternity Rocks! The cast will do day to day activities and daily living. The house will have webcams throughout, with the exception of the restroom. The producers may throw in a few punches to make the show more interesting, but you do whatever it takes to make the reviews sky rocket. Cast members must be willing to handle stressful situations, and day to day fraternity rules and regulations. No illegal activity will be tolerated." Ethan Luciano, casting dir.-prod. Seeking—Males: 21-30, from all different lifestyles, all body types, to interact with each other on a day to day basis doing daily activities.

TV Station Seeking Actor For Promotional TV Announcement (Reno, NV)

Looking for someone to play a "homeless man" in lighthearted role for a promotional announcement. Suitable candidate should be a male, mid 30's to 50 able to look the part ( a bit on the wild side for hair and clothing, you provide). Acting experience a plus but not required. Date needed TBD but you should be available on short notice for production sometime M-F 8:00-5pm. Production shoot should last less than one hour total.

This is a non-paying job but would be a great addition to a resume reel and we can provide you a copy of the finished product for yours.
