Utah Craze Talent only-Please submit if you fit

Very cute girls 18-24 do a video blog with the lines below
and email the links to Submissions@jeffjohnsoncasting.com. If the
series gets picked up the girl chosen will be a reccurring role. They
can use whatever camera there cell phone etc and then post it on a
blog or on You Tube. etc. this is the audition so there is no pay for
this.

As I mentioned earlier to day, we want to do a sample video blogging
site for Syfy to see. If the project goes, it would become a paying
gig, and the girl would become a reoccurring role in the show. Syfy
said they would love to have some way to connect the web & the TV
show. We think this is a great fit, and they are definitely
interested.

We want to have a cute, bubbly girl (any race), that we can use to
show our concept to Syfy.

Here is a sample script of what we'd like for the audition. They can
do the audition on a home camera. I have also included 3 sample
videos so you can see kind of what we are looking for. They can
either use my sample script or come up with something on their own.
We just want something short and hopefully funny.
Let them know you are with CRAZE Agency.

Hi, my name’s Rose Bud, and yes my, family loved Orson Wells and his
dumb sled more than they loved me. I guess it could be worse, they
could have liked sweets and named me Sweetcake, Candy Cane, or some
other pornstar name.

Anyway, my family moved to Marshall City about 3 years ago. One day
my mom was out watering her petunias and out of the blue a zombie
showed up and bit her. So here I am, a former petal of myself, or as
I like to refer to myself, Rose Bud, the flower of Dead City.

I decided to start a blog about my experiences here in Marshall City;
the city that was infected with the ZMB-13 virus back in 2006.

To start my blog, I thought I would start by interviewing members of
the Zombie Extermination and Removal Operations company, or as people
around here know them, the ZEROS.

New show-Utah

August 4, 2011
Growing Up: College Style
This is a fun show to be placed on YouTube or various websites. Also,
since the episodes are short they are perfect for film festivals as
well.
A college student at Weber State University must complete a final
project for his film major. He iecides to film the life of NS-The
Nerd Squad-his college group-compiling his findings into "TV Show"
style episodes mimicking "The Office" and "Modern Family".
This show is about a group of adults attending college. Girl drama
mixed comedy and ultimate nerdyness show no matter how smart you are
or how much college you've attended, you're never completely grown up.
Follow these students as one is convinced their house is haunted,
another takes the group on the oddest photo shoot ever, one young girl
unwillingly becomes sucked into the Twilight obsession; pulling 3 all
nighters to finish the series, and even a Mario Kart Madness to replace
the ever so popular March Madness. You'll laugh, cry, and everything
in between!

This project will shoot on weekends starting mid September. We do not have a budget right now but we will feed our actors. If the show goes well we can get a budget going forward; this project has room to grow.

We want to hold auditions on Saturday, August 27th.

We also need Dancers for an episode. We would like to start rehearsals for this episode at the beginning of September.

I would like any one interested to email me their head shot and resume at: Thejarofdirt@gmail.com for times, sides, and what character they would like to audition for.

Character Breakdown

Andi- A small, brown haired, college student in her 20's. She owns the lease of the 2 bedroom house they live in. Lindsey and Taylor share a room in the house.

Lindsey-she is the youngest in her family, not going to school, unemployed, while her mom and dad pay all her bills and send her $100 every week. But that is still not enough money. She is 18 years old.

Taylor-she is a bigger girl in her late 20's with short, blonde hair and is the ultimate people pleaser. She likes to be around people, but does not like to talk much. She is a photography major and a little more weird than the rest of the group.

Landon-he is a shorter, cute, Weber State student in his mid 20's. He is just as dorky as the rest of the group, but he thinks he isn't.

Jamie-he is the director of this film....his final project.Seth- he is a very smart, awkward young man who avoids all eye contact when whenever possible.

Deacon-He is not an idiot or surfer kind of guy, even though he says 'Dude' a lot. He is a very enthusiastic dork who loves planes.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Thank you,

Autumn Gehring

Autumn is represented by Craze so this should be a fun project. This is all the info. Craze has let us know if you were cast!
