A Utah county organization is seeking a child actor for a Public Service Announcement about Pornography.

We are looking for a young Polynesian looking child from three to five years old. The synopsis of the video is a single mom playing with her child at the park. There will be no speaking roles.

We need a child, along with one of their parents, who will be available for the second or third Saturday in July.

This will be an unpaid opportunity. However, our goal is to make this video, along with others in our campaign, go viral on the internet. This will be a great for exposure.

Drama Short - Troubles at home convince a twelve-year-old boy to run away with his imaginary friend. As their goal of reaching the ocean becomes unattainable, their resolve will be tested and their friendship challenged.

 The film is a low-budget pay project with a guaranteed premiere at the Rose Wagner in front of a sold-out crowd in November 2011.

 Casting for the roles of:

 THOMAS- Age range: 10-15

Thomas has always been neglected and mistreated by his parents, making him very shy.  He is very quiet and only lets himself go around his imaginary friend, Erik.

 

ERIK Age range: 10-15

            Erik is Thomas’ imaginary friend.  He likes to play and have fun, but will be the first to take charge when in a serious situation.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Monster.com Cloud is a new way for employers to search for candidates on-line. This activation will promote Cloud by presenting the idea that all candidates don’t look the same and monster.com can help people stand out in a crowd. There will be 19 people dressed the same with the same look and feel and then the 20th person will stand out with a different look, at the end of the line. The event is targeted to a group of HR hiring managers that will all be on their way to an indoor concert. This group of 20 people will line the entrance on the way into the venue.

Staff will line up, holding a padfolio and a sign that will be provided.

Extras needed for Imagine Utah

We are looking for actors who would be interested in being an EXTRA in our Short film “IMAGINE.” We will be shooting in Salt Lake City, Utah SWIMMING POOL. We need a total of 50+ EXTRAS of any age (preferably families), If your interested in being an EXTRA in this scene. Your welcome to have any family members or friends come as well. (The more People the better) No experience necessary, If Your bringing people with you, be sure that they are 100% committed and will be there the entire time for continuity issues.
You will be in the scene with professional talent (SCOTT WOLF), so this will defiantly be worth your time. If your age 25 and older, and are interested in being an Extra in another scene of this film, we have two other scenes that we could use you in also. Let me Know!
Production begins JULY-13th (Wednesday) and 14th- (Thursday) 2011. Both days are half days somewhere between 7am -1pm. We prefer to hire people that could commit to both days of production, if you can’t be there for both mornings then let me know. This is a non-paid job, but all “extras” will receive a credit on IMDB and also be listed in the end credits of the film.
It’s fairly simple; the EXTRAS will be playing in the swimming pool and laying out in lawn chairs getting a suntan. It will be like hanging out with friends and family at the pool. This film will be sent off to many film festivals. Please read the information below so you can get the basics of what we’re doing and my contact information to respond to. Casting Call:Short Film

Title: War Is...

Description: Set in 1972 Salt Lake City, students at the University of Utah discuss contrasting views on war, including Vietnam, the one currently occurring as they speak. As it frequently does, the discussion of war leads to conflict, provoked by the professors encouragement for them to evaluate what war really is.

Actors Needed: Looking for college aged actors with the exception of the professor. There are six primary speaking characters, 5 students and the professor. We also need extras to fill the classroom and to walk around campus as background characters. 

Skilled Crew Members Needed: We're looking for crew to do wardrobe, makeup, and hair. We'll also need set hands to help keep everything running and to ensure continuity.

Additional casting call for short - student film, UTAH

We are almost done casting our student film, however, we are looking for two additional actors

Male and Female ages 35 - 50.

1) Lester - middle aged man, once a skilled carpenter, now rough around the edges, struggle with depression, hopes that his turbulent life will return to tranquil normalcy.

2) Molly - middle aged women, Lester's wife, once a comfortable homemaker, now a cold and overwrought  breadwinner, unsympathetic to her husbands misfortune. 

This will be an open casting call. The casting session will be held at SLCC South campus on Thursday, June 23rd  from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Zombies Needed For 2 Hours Film Shoot This Sunday the 26th

We are almost done filming 2 Hours!!!

However, we are looking for a few additional zombies for our shoot this Sunday the 26th of June up Mapleton canyon.

Male or Female ages 18 - 30.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided and filming will be from 10 a.m. to no later than 3 p.m.

The only thing required is some old clothes that can get dirty and smothered in fake blood, (it washes out) and some awesome undead zombie acting!

The scene has been blocked and tested on film, and it's only one shot, (so as long as everything works perfectly just the way we imagine it will then it won't take very long, but something always goes wrong when your filming a movie especially the weather!!)

Also sorry boys and girls we are not paying with money, only kindness and networking and credit and kisses and free food and some badass special effects and something to do on a Sunday instead of sitting at home wishing you were an actor :)

Anyways, if your still reading this congrats so far weather.com says it will be a sunny 80 degrees day on the 26th so do something superstitious and hopefully it stays that way.
