A media Production company out of Boise, Idaho is casting for their broadcast TV show 208TV.
 
They are looking for both Male and Female Anchor or Host types, ages 25-50 for a television show that features Idaho people, places, events and lifestyle.
 
Filming for the pilot will commence in the next couple weeks.
 
They are looking for all types of personalities and especially encourage those that are witty, quick on their feet, confident, bold and willing to interact with people from all walks of life with compassion, interest and joy. You might find yourself hiking into Idaho wilderness, sky-diving, interviewing band members, talking with Idaho celebrities, or trying to hold on while white water rafting or riding on the back of a trail bike.

This is a two part audition process: 1st - they will conduct a brief screen test at our studio located at their studio in Boise, Idaho. 2. If you initially seem like a good fit. they will conduct a field screen test where you will be on camera interviewing one or more people.

All are encouraged to apply and compensation will be on a per show basis (currently budgeted at about $200- $300 per half hour show - this is subject to change both higher or lower if the show concept is adjusted).

Art Institute Student Film Auditions, UTAH

Synopsis:
Jordan losses his job and everything else, including his family. 2 years later, after living in the streets, he reunites with them, only to be a stranger through their eyes.
This film project will be mostly visual, with very little dialogue.

Jordan: Already Cast

Angel: 4 - 7 years old Female. Spanish / African-American mixed features (if possible). Daughter of Jordan. Looking for one that can play 2 different ages 4 and 6.

Julie: 25 - 35 years of age Female. Spanish features (if possible). Wife of Jordan. 

2 homeless people: Male or Female at any age.

Synopsis:
The story is about a girl who’s father, the king, is killed by an evil dark lord and then banished to a hidden prison. Who then turns their beloved world into fear and chaos. The only hope for Anduro is a group of 5 super powered individuals who are destined to find the girl and save Anduro.

This project is Sci-Fi/fantasy short for a pilot of a TV series. It is set in an ancient time with the feel of Celtic/renaissance kind of mixtures. Any enthused actors that love super powers and magic would be a plus.

Esami: Female. Need two different ages of this character. One 5-6 years old and one 10-12 years old. Esami, has blond curly hair medium to long length. Doesn’t have to be naturally curly, they can add the curls. White to slightly tan skin tone.

Jayza: 25 – 40 years old Female. Dark brown to black hair, long. Slender, white to medium tan skin tone.

King Uloche: 25 to 40 year old white Male, blond to light brown hair.

Lord Muireck: 25 to 40 year old Male. White to medium tan skin tone. Dark hair.

Neka: 22 to 28 years old Female. Light hair. Slender to athlete build.

Andraya: 16 to 25 years old Female. Medium to dark brown or Auburn hair. Slender to athlete build

PENNY DREADFUL is a wonderful short being made by an NYU student in Utah this Fall. It will be made into a feature within the next two years. The writing is fabulous, and it is very funny, but a bit rough.

Very funny with very dry delivery. MUST BE great actress. the lead girl – 9 years old – shoots someone in the head at point blank range. You will not see blood and gore – it is done in the context of the comedy.

We are an entertainment company run by actors, based in Boise, Idaho, USA. Our priority is producing the best shows possible. But we only succeed when our actors are happy. If you want to do amazing shows in a fun but professional environment, where your ideas are valued and your talent respected, read on!

We're always looking for actors, singers, and entertainers of all kinds. 18 years of age and over please. We particularly need the following:

- People who work easily with others in fluid, constantly changing ensemble casts.
- Improv actors who can build distinctive characters based on a limited script outline, then engage easily one-on-one in character with individual audience members.
- Improv comedians who can turn a one-word audience suggestion into thirty seconds of hilarity.
- Singers who can "sell" a song.
- Entertainers like musicians, magicians, puppeteers, or comedians comfortable performing in intimate venues with the audience at close quarters.

Utah Theatre Audition

The Midvale Arts Council is pleased to announce auditions for All Shook Up, a musical inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley. 
 
Auditions will be held Saturday May 14 from 12 noon – 3:00 p.m. at the Midvale Performing Arts Center: 695 West Center Street (7720 South), in Midvale.
 
Auditioners should come prepared with 16-24 bars of an upbeat song, pianist will be provided. Please bring piano music, no prerecorded music or a capella. Auditioners may be asked to read from the script and learn a short dance.
 
All Shook Up features many roles for varying ethnic backgrounds and all ages are encouraged to audition. All roles are open. Callbacks are scheduled Saturday May 21 from 12 noon – 3:00 p.m. by invitation only.

Midvale Arts Council’s production of All Shook Up is being directed/choreographed by Karen Chatterton, with assistant direction/choreography by Stephanie Maag, and music direction by Patricia Rogers.

The shoot is scheduled for Wednesday, May 11, probably from about 7:00-11:00 AM.  
 
We are going to need people willing to sign model releases to fill part of the restaurant. They are looking for talent who might need or want the experience, and would like to be a part of this shoot. t would not be a paying job.

New Reality Series for Women ages 18-40, Casting in UTAH!!!

Red Light Green Light Productions of Salt Lake City, Utah will hold an open casting call for a stereotype-shattering, all-Female reality show coming to Utah this summer.

 

“We are looking for the best and brightest characters who can handle up to five weeks of exciting twists and turns around every corner,” said the show‘s co-creator. 

 

Certain details of this reality program have not been revealed, due to the uniqueness of the competition. 

 
Women ages 18-40 are invited to attend the open call at:
Broadview University, located on Morris Street (2400 S. 240 E), Salt Lake City,
 
on April 30th, 2011 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. 
 
“Being there ahead of time, and before doors close at 4:00pm on that Saturday will be important if you want your green ticket,” according to the production team, as Women from several states are also expected to audition.

 

Callbacks will take place the following day, May 1, 2011, at Broadview.

An Advertising Agency out of Boise, Idaho is looking for a Female Host for an upcoming Commercial shoot.
 
They are looking for a Female Host age range 25-40 with Teleprompter experience. Looking for someone with a "news" look to her with a good on-camera presence.
 
The project is for a 2 minute commercial, news feature.

Extras Needed! Males and Females, late 20's- late 30's, UTAH

We have a client that is going to be in need of some Extras for a Product Infomercial. Utah usage only.
 
The Infomercial is for a new product that is a wallet replacement product that attaches to your pockets, purses, etc. to give you added security when in public places.
 
They are going to need Male and Female talent, any Ethnicity for a specific scene they are shooting. This is non-speaking work but you will however need to be able to follow directions and have an engaging, natural personality.
 
The Producer stated that this is going to be a very fun shoot with a lot of personality to it.
 
A specific shoot date has not yet been set, but will most likely happen late next week (week of May 2). IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE AROUND DURING THAT TIME, PLEASE SUBMIT.
 
Pay is $100 and you would need to plan on working 1 full day, 8:00am- 5:00pm or so.
 
Shooting will take place at a location in the Salt Lake Valley.

A local Utah Director will be creating a Commercial spec for his personal online portfolio.
 
Looking to cast a 12-14 year-old Boy to play the role of a, "Paperboy."
 
Planning to shoot this piece on a day in mid May. Shouldn't take more than a couple of hours to shoot. The Boy will be riding a bike and will need to be able to pull off a disappointed look on his face.

Performers Needed for Pirates of the CDA Cruises (Coeur d'Alene)

Calling all scallywags! Pirates of the CDA is launching it's second season on the lake and needs experienced, energetic actors to join it's swashbuckling crew. Cruises run daily June 18-Sept.5.

WHAT: Pirate Auditions
WHEN: Sunday, May 1st, from 12:00-6:00pm*
WHERE: CDA Resort Convention Center, Bay 6

Talent must be age 18 and over to audition. Please bring headshot/resume and prepare a short vocal audition, as all pirates are required to sing. Do you play a musical instrument? Musicians are encouraged to audition.

Rehearsals begin May 23rd. Pay rate is $10 per hour and employment is part-time.
