April 25 -- Encore Theater auditions for it's two summer production of Shakespeare's "Midsummer Nights Dream" and "King Lear". Auditions a 6:30pm at the Nampa Civic Center. Lead actors will only be cast in one show. Actors desiring leads need to prepare a two minute Shakespeare monologue. Actors interested in small parts will do cold readings.

May 21 -- Boise Little Theater and Boise City Parks and Recreation will be holding auditions for their summer youth production of "Anne of Green Gables". Note that this year's summer show is NOT a musical.

This short film will be shot with an HVX200-a camera with P2 support. 

Filming is expected to take 3-5 shoot days and will start shooting in Late Mayl depending on the schedules of the cast and crew after casting is completed.

It is anticipated that this film when completed will receive a "PG-13 rating from the MPAA

Music Video Casting - Female 21 to 29 (Salt Lake City, UT)

We have a client that is looking for a very attractive Female (age 21 to 29) to be the principal in a music video for a Salt Lake City singer/songwriter.
 
Video will feature the model/actress on screen for the entire video, mostly in close-up. No experience required, but acting skills a plus.
 
ROLE:
Attractive 20-something woman. Chatty party-girl, full of personality. (Model/Actress will be standing on a slow-moving camera dolly.) The video is about a girl who likes to go out and party...but simply talks way too much.
 
This is a legitimate paying (one-time) job with a legitimate Salt Lake City production company. Production of the music video will be mid to late May. It will be shot 2-4 hours a day over the course of 4 or 5 days. NEED SOMEONE WHO IS VERY FLEXIBLE/AVAILABLE.

Self-Medicated is a short film with hopes of being accepted into several Film Festivals. It is a dark and dramatic film spanning 24 hours in the life of a woman, her gay relationship, co-workers, self-image and how she copes and escapes from all of it through the use of drugs and alcohol.

The film is tentatively scheduled to shoot in late June. This project is not for pay but is work for experience and reel footage.

We apologize for short notice but we have a client setting up a casting for Monday, April 18 late afternoon. The job is for Intermountain Farmers.

The shoot date is Thursday, April 21.

They will hire 2 couples - One early 30's, Male and Female

Talent should be pleasant looking, normal (not models) who are shopping for garden supplies.

Production has had many talented women apply for their New Testament project. Upon review with the director, they have found that far too many are fresh-faced and wrinkle-free. The director is looking for Women who…

(3) have not had plastic surgery to make them look younger;

(4) are rail-thin to medium build. 

Also, his view about what looks “Jewish” is considerably different from our original “olive-skinned” request. If you can appear world-weary, regardless of coloring or bone-structure, they would like to see you.

These are the roles we will be populating:

Woman with an Issue of Blood – mid-30’s to early 40’s

Woman of Samaria – 30’s to 50’s

Elisabeth, Mary’s cousin – 50’s to 60’s

Anna, the prophetess – 82 years (We may use the magic of makeup to age this actress, but she should be at least in her 60’s if not older.)

All these roles require some profound acting. They seek actresses who have had training and experience in theatre or film.

Casting Call for Comedy Short - (2) 30 Something Males, UTAH

Looking for the perfect actors for a short film to be shot on the 23rd of this month (next Saturday). Both characters are 30 something males and need to be available for a night shoot. There is beer drinking and adult discussions in the script so please don't audition if that isn't part of the world you live in.

Roles:

Mark: Intelligent but unsuccessful. Believes he's refined.

Sam: Quasi-intelligent slob. Crass.Refinement is boring.

Due to the compressed nature of the schedule they don't really have time for a traditional casting session, so they would like to try and do that online.

Viral Intermedia Production has been commissioned by GuiltyHumor.com, a sponsored comedy channel on YouTube to produce their next project - a rap music video.
 
The soundtrack has already produced; the script and shooting schedule is in pre-production, locations have been secured (downtown Boise) and most of the roles have been cast.
 
They are still in need of three attractive young ladies with a sense of humor. All three actresses will be filmed at the same time in an outdoor downtown Boise location. Their will be one costume change for the 1 minute bit part and shooting should take no more than one hour.
 
The spot will be filmed on a weekday night at about 5PM.

Student Zombie Film - Actors Needed (Cheney)

The film is a project by a senior at Eastern Washington University, and is for volunteers who wish to have fun and be in a movie. It is a short film set on a college campus, which follows a college-aged woman, Carol, as she fights to survive on the zombie-infested campus.

There are two sets of roles in the film: Humans and zombies. The major human roles are Carol, the protagonist, a strong-willed woman who intends to survive, at any cost; John, a somewhat cowardly man who is eaten by zombies; Chris, who is a well-meaning survivor who wants to get others to join his group, and Julie, who is upset with Chris's attempts -and tries to kill Carol as a result.

The age range for all of these characters should be from early-twenties to late-twenties, going by looks. Anyone is welcomed to audition, and auditions will be set up in the email.

The zombies can be played by anyone, from children to old age. If anyone wishes to be a zombie, just ask! Everyone is welcome.
